Nanette Savard - "Director's Choice"
The Executioner 301: Blast Radius
"This was a very early GraphicAudio production. We hardly had any sound effects collections and not much music either. Terence Aselford did the narration and all the male characters and I did all the female characters because at the time the talent pool consisted of us, Rick Rohan and Colleen Delany. I guess they were busy. Rick’s son Chris, who was in high school at the time, did all the post-production work. I remember this production fondly because it was well-written and had a terrific plot and well-rounded, interesting characters. Terence and I had a “blast” doing it. I wish I could direct it again with the resources we have available today."

The Destroyer 95: High Priestess
"This was the first Destroyer we did in GraphicAudio. Rick Rohan had recorded a lot of Destroyer episodes for DH Audio so I kind of knew what to expect but I was delighted at the humor inherent in the piece. I cast myself as Squirrely Chicane (Shrley MacLaine) and had a lot of fun with that. Again, the good writing in the original was a big plus. I thought the performances from the other actors were outstanding. Matt Webb did a great job with the post-production, too."

The Destroyer 103: Engines of Destruction
"What a wonderful opportunity for the post-production engineers! As I was prepping the script, I remember singing out, “Okay, you guys! Get ready for lots and lots of train derailments!” I really enjoyed all the details about train engines for some reason, and loved playing the K.C. Crockett character. I also got the opportunity to use some music beds I’d never used before, like “Wabash Cannonball.” I still have pictures of the MK 5000, SD-40, Genesis II, and Mikado 2-8-2 on my computer."
