Demon Cycle
The Great Bazaar

by Peter V. Brett
May 1, 2014
1.4 Hours
Ages 18+
Humanity has been brought to the brink of extinction. Each night, the world is overrun by demons – bloodthirsty creatures of nightmare that have been hunting and killing humanity for over 300 years. A scant few hamlets and half-starved city-states are all that remain of a once proud civilization, and it is only by hiding behind wards, ancient symbols with the power to repel the demons, that they survive. A handful of Messengers brave the night to keep the lines of communication open between the increasingly isolated populace.

But there was a time when the demons were not so bold. A time when wards did more than hold the demons at bay. They allowed man to fight back, and to win. Messenger Arlen Bales will search anywhere, dare anything, to return this magic to the world.

Abban, a merchant in the Great Bazaar of Krasia, purports to sell everything a man's heart could desire, including, perhaps, the key to Arlen's quest.

Good Short story that fills in a lot of data that was missing in the original saga, nicely done
A Fun and Adventurous Little Read While Washing the Dishes, and Performing Other Household Chores! by JasonJason (Posted on 6/6/2016)
For all those who love a short action packed fantasy adventure while waiting for your food to finish whilst washing dishes and completing other household chores this GA Production of one of the Demon Cycle Short stories is for you. As stated in one or more of the earlier reviews, it adds some much need filler to some of the gaps that are left in the story of the first novel. As usual the staff and crew at Graphic Audio have done wonders with their quality acting, excelent music, and awesome sound effects. I give it five out of five stars. Thanks GA!

This was the first demon cycle story I listened to. Stands alone while begging for more
The Great Baazar by Joseph (Posted on 6/28/2015)
I really enjoyed the middle eastern feel to this installation of the series, and the introduction of the clay demons.
Great Bazaar by Lionel (Posted on 5/14/2015)
This was a great novella that fills a few holes, and takes place while Arlen was a messenger. And shows how Abban operated by bending, and breaking rules that could get himself and Arlen killed.
Great job!
