THis hurts to write, because I have really begun to enjoy the work here at Graphic Audio. The Green Lantern and Flash audios were excellent, the Matt Jensen audios are most excellent, and Final Crisis was really good! But Crisis on Infinite Earths was the first Graphic Audio piece I had to force myself to finish. The voice acting is good, if uninspired at times. The over all experience is lacking in electricity, in urgency. It felt drawn out and the use of Barry Allen as a narrator as well as another narrator just drags the story down. It felt like this could have been wrapped up in two parts. In comparison, Final Crisis surged forward, even with the myriad of characters. It moved forward and really got you excited about listening. Can't recommend this one. Sorry. HOWEVER- The voice work of Superman has some stellar moments. There are a few very nice moments with a few of the characters, Superman I & II especially.

High production value and very enjoyable to me as a fan of this pivotal classic DC event. I would've rather had the storyline remain truer to the original comic as opposed to the Flash-centric novelization rewrite, but that's a minor complaint. My one major disappointment is that Superboy-Prime was left out. His participation in this tale is a major jump of point for the sequel - Infinite Crisis, so we've got a major continuity issue here. Still enjoyed this production though and will buy more. (Looking forward to your "more understandable" Final Crisis.

Enjoyed the production and voices. Similar complaints with the overall story that have been described in depth in other postings. Still, well worth your time.

As always, the production quality is beyond excellent. This story is a bit tough to follow with all the popping in and out from one time and space to another. A couple loose ends don't get fully tied up to my satisfaction by the end of the story. But such is the way of the comic book as well. Sometimes a loose end doesn't get tied up so that it can become a new story arc in the next months issue of whoever's comic. Long and the short of it, I now own 12 of the DC GA books and every one of them is excellent. Love listening to them and becoming immersed in the atmospheric worlds they create through sound. Keep it up GA.
