Elantris #1-3 CD Box Set

The city of the gods. Elantris once stood as the symbol of all that isbeautiful. A sprawling metropolis of unrivaled grandeur, it was asymbol of power and strength, built to be as imposing as it wasmagnificent.

The only thing more glorious than the city itselfwas its inhabitants, Godlike beings, with silvery skin and hair of thepurest, flowing white. Able to create powerful magics with a mere waveof their hands, the Elantrians were able to heal mortal wounds andcreate any object they desired. To be an Elantrian was to be withoutsickness, without pain and without want.

And anyone could becomea god. Through a process known as the "Shaod",a normal person could goto bed one night, and awake the next morning to throw away the shacklesof mortality and become a being of incomparable power and grace. WithElantris as their beacon, the light inside all humanity was allowed toshine, elevating it to new heights.

But Elantris fell...ten years ago.

A really great read! If only it was longer. I'm looking forward to reading Warbreaker, just hoping it will be as good.
