While I found both the Manhunter and Supes somewhat flat, they can't help it when sharing the stage with the Main Man. Lobo's vocals are very true to Keith Giffen's quirky creation, and his voice actor deserves full marks for his characterization. Lobo is probably the #1 over-the-top character in the DCU, and "Last Sons" fraggin' well shows why. Bravo Zulu!

Uh... okay. The only reason I gave "Last Sons" a three star rating was due to the excellent vocal talent of the Graphic Audio crew. Otherwise... well... this one just didn't do it for me. I mean, c'mon... Lobo visiting a "space trucker cafe" where "Shrumpburgers" are served up by a brassy waitress named Darlene? And all the villains speak with accents like "dey's from New Yoik or Joisey?" Ugh. I felt like I was listening to an episode of Futurama rather than a serious DC Comics production. Anyone wanting a more mature presentation of DC Comics characters would be better off checking out Batman in "Dead White."
