2: Blood and Honor (1 of 2)

King Malcom of the kingdom of Redhart is dead.  The kingdom has been overrun by the forces of the Unreal.  Statues live, corpses walk, and nothing is as it seems.  One of Malcom's three sons may assume the throne, but two will have to die.  Jordan, the great actor, is hired to impersonate Prince Viktor, who is ill, but can't be seen in public as weak.  Jordan's skills are great, but there is much he doesn't know about the prince, and his ignorance could kill him if he doesn't acquire allies and learn the truth about life at Castle Midnight.

Another great story by Mr.Green and the GA Team(or should I just say the A-Team). This story while set in the same world as Blue Moon Rising is not about the same people. Indeed it is about a has been actor given the opportunity to play the part of a lifetime, who finds himself fighting just to stay alive. There are more gaps, and flaws in this story than in the previous one. Nevertheless I enjoyed the main character a great deal, and only wish that the other characters had been filled out better, rather than treated as sidebars. As always the story is very unpredictable, and doesn't go at all the way you initially think it would which is refreshing. I enjoy Mr.Green's writing style, I just wish he'd spent a little more time with this one.
