From his Missouri farm, the boy traveled west. In his hand was a Navy Colt given to him by Jesse James. By his side was the old mountain man named Preacher, who would teach young Smoke Jensen everything he needed to fight like the devil, and die like a man.

And in his heart...was vengeance.
His enemies destroyed everything he'd ever loved.
But they made one mistake.
They let Smoke Jensen live.

If you liked the the first Moutainman, this is the series for you. Johnstone carries on with Preacher's legacy, Smoke Jensen. Get it you won't be disappointed.

I was recently introduced to this series through a friend, who loaned me the first book.

What can I say, aside from the fact that I was completely blown away!!

This was an absolutely amazing piece of writing! William Johnstone's storytelling is second to none. Mort Shelby's narration is spot on and gives the entire production the sort of authenticity you never find in single person readings. Great acting from everybody; they really do bring the story to life in ways I can't even begin to describe.

From the first five minutes, I became a fan.

Smoke Jensen is a man not to be trifled to with. I will definitely ponying up the green for these titles. They are must haves on all fronts.

Love it ... just wish it wasn't filled with so much profanity. Can't listen to them 'cause of that.
