We offer Audio CD's, MP3 CD's and Windows Media Audio downloads.
2. What is a MP3 CD?
MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3, more commonly referred to as MP3, is a popular digital audio encoding and lossy compression format, designed to greatly reduce the amount of data required to represent audio, yet still sound like a faithful reproduction of the original uncompressed audio to most listeners. The majority of our MP3 CD's are encoded as 192kbps files and contain approximately 15-20 tracks. The entire audio book is contained on one CD. They will play in most of the newer CD/DVD player systems and portable media players.

4. How long does it take to receive an audiobook?
Once the purchase is completed, orders will be shipped within 24-48 hours. In most cases the orders are shipped the same day. The order can be sent via UPS Ground, UPS 3 Day Select, UPS 2 Day Air, UPS Next Day Air or USPS Priority Mail. If you choose Air service, please note that any order placed after 3pm may not be shipped until the following business day. Orders placed on Friday or during the weekend may not be processed for shipment until the next business day (usually Monday morning unless it falls on a holiday and the main office is closed). Deliveries via UPS do not occur on Saturdays.
Once the order is shipped, our store will automatically email you the UPS tracking number so you can track your order and find out when it will arrive. The USPS Priority Mail option does not provide tracking information.

8. What if my audio books arrive damaged/unplayable?
Please read our Return Policy, then contact us to report the problem and let us know which disc is damaged. We will ship you a replacement of the same title promptly. If the entire book was damaged, we will arrange for you to ship it back and we will send you a replacement of the same title.
9. Are cassettes still available?
Cassettes are no longer available as of November 1, 2006.
Our recommendation for you would be a Cassette Adaptor. You can connect a portable media player or cd player to the 1/8" input. It has much better sound quality than an FM modulator and you won't have to replace your current head unit. In addition, Truck Stops and Travel Centers as well as retail outlets such as Radio Shack and Best Buy carry inexpensive Cassette Adaptor Solutions.
Your other alternative is to buy a new CD player head unit. Most of the new units released have a built in data buffer where jumping and skipping CDs are long gone. And we can't forget about the number one difference you will see when you switch to CDs, MP3s or WMA Downloads. Sound quality. The sound quality of the explosions and gun shots is drastically better on digital formats as I'm sure you are aware of. We hope this information helps you in your switch.
