Green Lantern Sleepers by Theresa (Posted on 12/17/2018)
Enjoyed the book, always like when there is a hard time and they have to figure out how to get out of it. I thought it keep your interest it would take you right up to the edge and then over you go. Looking forward to reading the other 2

great book it best to wait until you have all 3 and you are in for one great story
Great story by Deon (Posted on 1/21/2018)
In all honesty, I read the second book in the series first. I'm a sucker for Golden Age heroes. Kyle's section of the trilogy is engaging, but I can't see how the three tie together just yet. Other than a few select scenes at the end (which could be a lead into the next chapter). Hopefully, once I finish the fourth, it'll all make a little more sense.

one of the best green lantern. it a great audio.
Great Production - Poor Writing by Francis (Posted on 11/28/2017)
The production values are unparalleled. Unfortunately, the writing is grating. Every other sentence uses a simile for want of actual description.

If you are GL fan though, I recommend it. Be aware that this is pre- Geoff John's Rebirth story line, so the concept of the emotional rainbow has not yet been established.

I purchased the entire Sleepers trilogy a few years ago, but lost them. Getting them again! I'm a big Green Lantern fan and am replacing them in my collection. Great story, great way to keep you interested while you learn about the physiology of being a Lantern. Way cool!
Green Lantern Sleepers Book One by Andrew (Posted on 11/28/2015)
It is a very captivating story.
Review by Chelsea (Posted on 11/28/2015)
An excellent and dynamic tale in the Green Lantern universe. Kyle is the focus of this story- him and his allies must confront an ancient evil, while trying to fold his life together. The sound effects in this story are especially compelling. This is my favorite green lantern story out of the bunch so far. And I look forward to listening to the rest of the Sleepers series.

Great start to an awesome trilogy by Michael (Posted on 4/21/2015)
I have listened to this one and the other two so many times and each time I can't help but be amazed how well this story is told, I hope Graphic Audio does more Green Lantern stories! Brightest Day and Blackest Night would be so cool.As always everything is spot on

Loved it. It made me even more of a green lantern fan.

This wonderful tie in with all three books was damaging
Green Lantern: Sleepers Book 1 by Xiong (Posted on 10/12/2014)
I wanted to listen to this because I really enjoyed Hero's quest. Overall I really enjoyed the story and characters in this one, but I did find the drama between Kyle and Jade kind of annoying in this one. I guess it was disappointing to see Kyle grow up so much when he received his powers in Hero's quest only to find him so immature and childish in this one. Other than that the different worlds and time dimensions/crossovers are really interesting concepts and kept me hooked in this adaption. Great voice acting as always, great music that creates emotional context, and great story progression.
Jealous Listener by Clinton (Posted on 6/15/2014)
Sleepers book one was a fantastic listen. It had great pacing and fantastic sound scape. It was good to listen to at work. It made a long shift feel short. I haven listen to this 3 times now and I have not gotten bored yet.
Perfection... we need more of these Part 1 by Rhys (Posted on 6/1/2014)
This is a great story and unbelievably worth 18 hours to hear it all the way. The subtleties of how the three volumes of "Sleeper" join together to tell the tale in a way which would make the authors proud.

This first volume follows latest Green Lantern: Kyle Rayner.

A friend let me listen to his copy.

As usual, GA has produced a quality recording. Solid 5 headphones on that front.

The story was good and it made me want to purchase the rest of the series. So for that, I have to give 5 headphones for the story rating.
Green Lantern: Sleepers Book 1 by Robert (Posted on 3/28/2014)
Warning: This series takes place before Geoff Johns' run on the Green Lantern titles. Therefore there are some inconsistencies between current DC cannon and this title.

The book follows Kyle through a wide variety of environs with all the great drama Graphic Audio has traditionally brought to their works, However, the source material leaves Kyle- a character that many are not all that familiar with as GL- depicted as whiny and immature. I tried to to root for him, but found myself in greater relation to the "bad guy" Eddie. HE's the one I wanted to know more about by the end of the story.

Again, this fault is one the hand of the source material not the GA adaptation of it. The translation to audio actually helped take a book I thought was "eht" and raise it a notch or two.
Never forget the first by Grant (Posted on 10/30/2013)
This was my first dip into the movie in your mind company. Honestly I downloaded it from a sharing site because I have a four hour round trip to work five days a week. Holy snikies! Amazing ever since that day I dipped into the pool and I will never leave. I just bought Wayne of Gotham now and Spiderman Drown in Thunder at ComicCon. I absolutely can't wait to drive tomorrow to start listening to my new book. Spiderman was amazing as always. But this is my first! This whole three books where an amazing journey and this company nails the characters & feeling of the universe down perfectly. Keep on rocking & buy legally! Its worth every penny.
Green Lantern again. by Wayne (Posted on 10/5/2013)
I like Kyle Rainer. I really look forward to a story when Eric Messner is one of the main actors. Any western or other story that has him in it a lot is going to be a good story. I still have a hard time understanding all the other worlds and zones so I struggle with these stories. I guess I've never read many comics and listening to these are the first time I'm finding out about these characters and sometimes it gets mind boggling.
Great start to a great series! by Michael (Posted on 9/28/2013)
Never really had a appreciation for the Green Lantern stories until now!
I purchased these the Sleepers trilogy to enjoy whilst on holiday, however didn't start listening to until the flight home. Book 1 made a 5 hours flight feel like half an hour and despite landing back home I couldn't put down and continued to listen to until the story had finished later that day.
I had hesitations with book 2, and though not a gripping as book 1 It was still an enjoyable listen.
Book 3 however was amazing by bringing the story together and linking the 3 characters into 1 solid story.
I am now a huge fan of Green Lantern and have purchase GA's other production, "Heroes Quest" in order to get my Green Lantern Fix
I wouldn't recommend by these stories singularly, instead I recommend buying all 3 together as once started you will be hooked.

Review by Mark Borison (Posted on 5/23/2013)
Man, I can NOT get enough of the DC Universe Graphic Audios. It's to the point now where I almost can't get friends to get in the car with me anymore because i'm always mid-story. Regardless, Book One was really interesting--I always enjoy GA's handling of Kyle Rayner as well as the epic nature of this story. Thanks again, Graphic Audio!
