Mistborn
Mistborn (CD Series Set)

Brandon Sanderson, fantasy's newest master tale spinner, author of the acclaimed debut Elantris, dares to turn a genre on its head by asking a simple question: What if the hero of prophecy fails? What kind of world results when the Dark Lord is in charge? The answer will be found in the Mistborn Trilogy, a saga of surprises and magical martial-arts action that begins in Mistborn.

For a thousand years the ash fell and no flowers bloomed. For a thousand years the Skaa slaved in misery and lived in fear. For a thousand years the Lord Ruler, the "Sliver of Infinity," reigned with absolute power and ultimate terror, divinely invincible. Then, when hope was so long lost that not even its memory remained, a terribly scarred, heart-broken half-Skaa rediscovered it in the depths of the Lord Ruler's most hellish prison. Kelsier "snapped" and found in himself the powers of a Mistborn. A brilliant thief and natural leader, he turned his talents to the ultimate caper, with the Lord Ruler himself as the mark.

Kelsier recruited the underworld's elite, the smartest and most trustworthy allomancers, each of whom shares one of his many powers, and all of whom relish a high-stakes challenge. Only then does he reveal his ultimate dream, not just the greatest heist in history, but the downfall of the divine despot.

But even with the best criminal crew ever assembled, Kel's plan looks more like the ultimate long shot, until luck brings a ragged girl named Vin into his life. Like him, she's a half-Skaa orphan, but she's lived a much harsher life. Vin has learned to expect betrayal from everyone she meets, and gotten it. She will have to learn to trust, if Kel is to help her master powers of which she never dreamed.

Graphic Audio is the S#$% by Waleed (Posted on 10/29/2016)
Firstly, i only listen to audiobooks that have Michael Kramer doing the narration, he has a voice range that is unmatched. So I bought the entire mistborn series and was browsing audible for an Audiobook to go along with it. Then my friend lent me his entire Graphic Audio set telling me Kramer is doing the narration, my first experiance with Graphic audio was guardian devil one of my favorite daredevil stories and they brought that comic to life. Comics and books are completely different beasts. I am happy to say that Mistborn was on another level. This entire series was a reading experience like no other. The voice actors for Vin and Kelsier did an amazing job portraying the characters as good as or dare i say better than i imagined, The abridging did piss me off a little but i had the book with me so i didn't miss a beat, this is a new way to read books. It leaves alot to the imagination, and Michael Kramer's female voices are awesome....except they are a bit too similar to his wheel of time voices and stormlight archive voices. Having Vin not sound like Elayne from Wheel of Time is a bonus, because i hate Elayne almost as much as i like Vin. What i didn't like was the voice of ruin, that guy was trying too hard and i couldn't take his cartoony bull seriously. I also hate the character of Elend, and the voice actor for Elend did such a great job at playing a self righteous goody two shoes prick that my hate amplified. Some downsides, but overall worth the price. This does the sanderson series justice. Highly recommended.
You will be happy with this purchase by John (Posted on 9/28/2016)
A friend turned me onto Mistborn. Best friend ever. Now, best loved novels ever (with Stormlight Archive working its way to the #1 slot) Such great stories, characters, drama, humor, and all with Graphic Audio's sound effects and music to bring the movie into your mind.

Trust me, get on board and grab up this set, these books won't let you down.

As an aside:

I wish that Graphic Audio could work faster on the Brandon Sanderson works. If only you could put out your products at the same time (or nearly the same time) as Audible/Amazon, your business proceeds would see significant gains. I am sure of it. Given the opportunity to buy an Audible or Graphic Audio book on release day.....Graphic Audio wins it, hands down! Of course you would just need access to the book beforehand just like Audible/Amazon does. I am sure this can be arranged. I await that day happily.

Thanks heroes and voices and engineers all. Well done. Money well spent.
Mistborn Series by Jeffrey (Posted on 8/28/2016)
Intriguing story and excellent production. I am a big fan of Brandon Sanderson, and consider this Mistborn series one of his best. The nature of the special powers that are derived from metals is very interesting and a lot of fun. The characters are enjoyable and the plot is riveting. It all plays out to a very satisfying ending. I highly recommend this series. I had to think hard before investing so much for the complete set, but once I started listening I knew I had made the right choice. This set is very much worth the cost.

Brandon Sanderson has spun an amazing world. With so many posibilities, amazing depth of characters, and a novel that just keeps pulling you in to see what happens next. I have read some of his paper books, but the Graphic Audio just puts it over the top! Definitely a good "read"!!!
