J. Jonah Jameson, publisher of the Daily Bugle, has denounced Spider-Man from the beginning, convincing New Yorkers to see him as a criminal and a menace. But when a robot attack on Manhattan injures Peter Parker's students and Jameson blames Spider-Man, their feud takes on a new, personal dimension.

As the embittered webslinger faces further robot attacks, each deadlier than the last, his spider-sense warns that Jameson himself is behind them, possibly colluding with Electro, Alistaire Smythe, or another of Spider-Man's mortal foes. Convinced that his worst critic has become a mortal enemy, Spider-Man declares war on Jameson -- a war the publisher is eager to wage. But in their relentless pursuit of victory, they both risk losing everything that matters to them -- and may both fall victim to the cataclysmic secret behind the robots.

Spiderman another great adventure by Zazu (Posted on 10/19/2015)
This was still another great addition to the graphic audio novels. It was a fast paced, action filled, web slinging adventure filled with diabolic robots that spidey so often faces.
Amazing and Awesome! by Jason (Posted on 9/23/2015)
I thought this was an amazing story and had wonderful production!

I thought the voice for Spider-Man/Peter Parker fit really well and it was a nice touch to hear the effect of talking through the mask. The effects put into the story made it even better for me. I enjoyed being able to hear the combat go on, the shots of the web shooters, the busy traffic of New York (although some it threw me off when driving myself wondering if it was a honk in the story or near me), and hearing Spider-Man land on a car or wall.

The story was very interesting and had me guessing the entire time. I do wish GA could release the stories that were mentioned in this comic that way you can get a could background knowledge of what was going on. However, it does not take away from the story because it tries to sum it up as best as it can, and if you follow or know Spider-Man's story you can easily put it together.

As a fan of Spider-Man and if you like him I would highly recommend this audio book!
Spider-Man by Dave (Posted on 9/2/2015)

a fun ride by dewayne (Posted on 8/24/2015)

I'm Not a Spider-man fan. But this was AMAZING!! by Mike (Posted on 8/20/2015)
I almost passed on this because im not a spider-man fan. Civil war was good. Secret wars was ok . But after a friend told me its mostly a mystery drama and Peter has to deal with adult situations I thought I would Give it a try. MAN, This is amazing! At one Point there is a argument that felt so real that I felt i needed to excuse myself from the room. I am hooked to these Audio books
Can't think of a title by Paul (Posted on 8/18/2015)
Spiderman was one of my favourite superheros as a kid so when I first saw this couple of years ago, I did nearly bought this but instead bought Civil War and thought about buying this later. Well I decided to buy this and all can I say is that although there are no complaints all I will say is that I still prefer the crossover stories like Civil War and the rest of them, regardless it's from Marvel or DC.
Great!!!!! by Reginald (Posted on 8/4/2015)
Was my first fiction audio book. Found it at a truck stop. I'm hooked.
Thumbs up by Victor (Posted on 7/30/2015)
Was extremely leery of a audio version of a Marvel story. Fantastic rendition! S Lee couldn't have told it better!!!!
Good stuff by James (Posted on 7/26/2015)
I love this SM sorry. Keep it up GA. I can't wait to hear more of my fav wallcrawler. This anna Civil War are must haves for any Spider-Man (not Spiderman) fan.
Swimming in Fun by Clinton (Posted on 7/6/2015)
I have read many Spider-man comics and a couple novels, so coming from a point of knowledge, this is a great novel. This is probably one of the best and accurate portrayal of Peter Parker. It is wonderful. The fierce dialogue between Jameson and Spidey is epic. The villain of the book provides a good and genuine threat. Good listening.
Spidey! by Aadel (Posted on 6/30/2015)
I was nervous about a Spiderman title - but GA does the friendly neighborhood hero justice! Great story and it was family friendly.
Perfect by Ravn (Posted on 6/3/2015)
This is as good a Spidey story that you will ever get.
loved it by jay (Posted on 3/3/2015)
great story. fun listen. the voice actors are great, my only complaint is the voice actor for Spider-man sounds like he does his lines while holding his hand over his mouth to simulaite the effect of Spidey speaking thru a full face mask. I found that a little distracting. otherwise , great work. PLEASE DO MORE SPIDER-MAN TITLES!!
Spider-man Drowned in thunder by john (Posted on 2/16/2015)
Awesome! I have purchased every Marvel Na DC title to date and I have never been let down. The voice acting, music and sound effects really draw you in. I love these books!
Spider-Man: Drowned in Thunder by Myk (Posted on 1/21/2015)
Amazing! Have gone back to this more than once, the web swinging is great and the way it's put together really gives you a sense of the nitty gritty details that make up Peter's life.

Please make more more Spider-man titles!
Has legs! by Joshua (Posted on 1/8/2015)
I must admit the quality and production values were top notch. That being said, the story arc had a bit to be desired. I think this was mostly due to being thrown in to a an arc with more than one sub plot that had too much backstory already established and assumed the reader (or listener in this case) was already familiar with numerous incidents and happenings. But not deep enough to fully derail the course of this story.
spiderman by Craig (Posted on 1/5/2015)
Another great story from graphic audio! I love the Marvel series!
Really enjoyed the script, but not the blu ray by Joe (Posted on 12/23/2014)
This was a great story. Bennet as adapted Rohan had just the right amount of old school references to make the fan boy in me ecstatic. The action was strong. The Jameson revelation was cliche, but I think required.

The downside was the format. i bought the Blue Ray version. I usually listen to GA in my car, but felt captive by having to listen to this on my home theater system. in fact, I eventually gave up and downloaded the audiobook to my app and listened in the car. I don't believe the enhanced sound compensates for the lack of mobility. But, your mileage may vary,
Spiderman drowned in thunder by Gavin (Posted on 12/14/2014)
Excellent as usual graphic audio. I truly don't know how I survived before I discovered graphic audio and the marvel and DC audio books. Thanks
Amazing by john (Posted on 11/20/2014)
This Audio book reminded me why I love Spider-man. To the guy who voiced spider-man, you were born to voice Spider-man. I wish Sony could use your voice to replace Andy Garfield in the Amazing spider-man movie. His voice was horrible. Graphic audio great job, you just got another satisfied customer.
Awesome Spiderman by Anthony (Posted on 10/31/2014)
As always GA have done another great job with another Marvel character. Look forward to others in the near future.
Drowned in thunder by Michael (Posted on 8/28/2014)
The only thing I didn't like about this book was Peter Parker , the character .. Voice acting was great as always.. good choices of actors to characters
Amazingly Superb by Simon (Posted on 8/1/2014)
This is simply a superb Spider-Man Audiobook which I enjoyed from begining to end, Fast paced, superb voice acting & delivers movie quality action in a mind blowing Audiobook experience.

The only disappointing thing about Spider-Man: Drowned In Thunder is when it finally finished.

More Spider-Man GA of this quality please, Comes highly recommended by this reviewer
Not Bad by Brad (Posted on 7/31/2014)
I expected more, really like spider-man but now I think hes a little soft.
Along came a spider by Arcenio (Posted on 7/9/2014)
Loved it better than the movie
Awesome! by Matthew (Posted on 7/3/2014)
The best audio book I've heard in years, loved the DC stuff but always been a Marvel man! Love the casting for J Jonah
Arachnid Guy by Andrew (Posted on 6/27/2014)
Not a bad story, but I was left feeling like I needed to find the previous story arc it references to fully understand it.
Drowned in some schmaltz too... by Rhys (Posted on 6/1/2014)
This was overall an excellent production. The story let them down a little-- there is a predictable "Suddenly J.J. Jameson realises Spider-Man is innocent" moment which soon leads nearly immediately back to Jameson's more usual "I hate you Spiderman and I'm going to wipe you out" mentality. That part was sort of heavy-handed. But the production is excellent as always.
That's More Like It by Michael (Posted on 4/12/2014)
After listening to Ultimate's Tomorrow Men I wasn't sure about GAs Marvel adaptions. I loved Civil War but Tomorrow men wasn't great and seeing the release dates of other Marvel projects I am worried that GA are rushing production and effecting the quality. HOWEVER Spider-man drowned in thunder has re assured me as to how great GA are. I loved this productions and I felt they captured the characters perfectly, though it took me a while to get to grips with JJJ. All in all I would recommend this to any audio fan, marvel or not.
After tomorrow men I wasn't sure about getting the second Ultimate one, but this spider-man production has helped me decide to give it a go. More adaptions like this GA, thanks
Spidey in the flesh by Marc (Posted on 3/24/2014)
If you are a fan of Spidey, this is great.

The timeline is kinda funky, as the story presumes you have the knowledge of Peter and MJ's wedding (which didn't happen) and Peter quiting The Daily Bugle. Action is tight and plentiful, and there a lot of insight on web cartridges, needing to replace blanks in the middle of a fight, which we don't get in comics.

However, Peter is kinda whin-y in this version and jonah jameson has a funky southern drawl. Which makes you go huh? I though Jonah is from NYC, born and bred.

Apart from that, you guys will get a kick out of this. Recommended.
