Reviews

Thanos Death Sentence review by Andy (Posted on 8/27/2018)
Interesting plot from the point of view of the villain, with good action and character development. Excellent performances and sound effects, that really brings the story to life, with fantastic production values. Would recommend it.
Getting Personal With a Psychopath by Catdaddy (Posted on 8/25/2018)
The story begins as you expect it would end, with the words “Thor was the first to die.“ However, it quickly takes turns you will not expect if you arre only familiar with the Thanos of the MCU. Here, expect PG-13 levels of violence, and a *clinically* psychopathic villain.

The story is essentially boilerplate “Prince and the Pauper“ narrative, or: “The taming of the Thanos”. But it ultimately it features a twisted “be yourself” message. The plot does give GraphicAudio the opportunity to show an enormous scale of death and carnage (aside from a small reprieve in hour seven) simply does not register the same impact as later scenes of small betrayal against beloved individuals.

“Thanos: Death Sentence” has action, but do not expect a lot of heart. Ultimately, the listener’s reaction to the story will depend upon their wanting to spend several hours, not with our fun-loving superheroes, but with a unrepentant psychopath. To be frank, this reviewer did not.

The drama is a moderate PG-13, as the title character is prone to sudden violence, and there is a very discreet mention of offstage sex.
My first Graphic Audio experience began with The Mad Titan! by William (Posted on 8/21/2018)
As a big fan of Thanos, I was surprised to stumble onto an audiobook at Books a Million where I could listen to a cinematic story about how one of Marvel’s greatest villains could everything turned upside down, and maybe even be possibly redeemed? It’s a fascinating concept that for the most part works really well. What shocked me most was how immersive the experience was and how great the editing, sound effects, music, and voice acting were. I do wish some themes of the story were further explored and made real impacts, but if you’re a Thanos fan, don’t miss out on this. It was my first Graphic Audio experience and I’m gonna be listening to more stories for years to come!
Wanted to like it more by Lucas (Posted on 8/8/2018)
I was super excited to listen to this after watching Infinity War. It's okay. Not my favorite, but not entirely bad. It drags quite a bit. The performances are solid, though.
The New Face of Thanos by Chase (Posted on 6/21/2018)
This story really sucked me in! Thanos is now one of my favorite Marvel characters and you actually find yourself rooting for the Mad Titan. All of Thanos' goons make appearances as well as Drax from Guardians of the Galaxy. This audio book was the first I've listened to and now I'm hooked and just ordered 3 more titles. You definitely won't be disappointed if you put this one in your Cart.
Very good. by William (Posted on 5/9/2018)
Great quality production as always. Story started with a lot of action did a lot of character development. It tried real hard to make sure there was more then a 2 dimensional villains.
Thanos!!!!! by Matthew (Posted on 3/27/2018)
Long time Thanos fan and loved this book! It showed a different side of thanos that isnt always shown. You realy get into how he thinks and who he is at the core of his being.
Interesting...very interesting by Christopher (Posted on 12/7/2017)
I really enjoyed this one, it was a lot different than the other comics based books. Getting to see into the mind and motivations of Thanos was excellent. Lots of interesting settings and characters. Graphic audio killed it as usual with the voice acting and sound design!
An in depth view at Thanos by Norman (Posted on 11/14/2017)
I want to hear more stories like this. The adventures and misdeeds of villains. At times you're rooting for the bad guy and then all of a sudden, they remind you why they have to be stopped.
amazing by demontae (Posted on 11/2/2017)
Great
A lot more depth than you'd expect by Sam (Posted on 6/20/2017)
I'm not as up to date on the Marvel Cosmic Universe, so many of the characters in this story were unfamiliar. But it was still a great listen and had a lot more depth and character development than I expected from a comic book title. The production is top notch and it's a compelling story.
Definitely interesting by Catie (Posted on 6/15/2017)
After listening to this book together and trying to talk about it, all we could really say was that it was interesting. It's rare that the villain's side of things is told, and sometimes that's a compelling story too.
Thanos Death sentence by Joshua (Posted on 5/26/2017)

Thanos by Lee (Posted on 5/16/2017)

THANOS GOES Soft by Willie G from PG Mississippi (Posted on 5/9/2017)
I'm still confused about what I just heard. Deep story that takes you into the life and intentions of God THANOS. He had a power trip basically. And the ending was tear-indusing for me. I can't believe how fast they fell. Anywho, grey story from GA and marvel. Looking forward to more new titles and the lineup leading to infinity wars 1&2. I seldom wonder is Gamora from Guardians Thanos's daughter. Never understood why I think that. 5stars on this one
disappointing by rafael (Posted on 4/16/2017)
When I first heard about this book I was looking forward to it. Well after hearing it I must say I was disappointed. It made him more human.
Great Job as always!! by SHAWN (Posted on 3/26/2017)
I am still on the fence with this one, but, that should in no way deter you from this title. My fav comics titles by GA are Civil War, Final Crisis, and Batman No Man's Land. It was very interesting seeing things from the point of view of the "villain". The sheer destructive power of Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet is nothing short of awe inspiring. I actually got behind him more than a few times throughout his journey. Which is why I'm on the fence. It just feels weird to deal with those personal emotions of rooting for the villain and a second later, hate him to his core again. Job well done for making me personally deal with and question things. If you're a comics fan, get this. It should open at least a tiny glimpse of where Marvel May take the Infinity War movie
bad ass by douglas (Posted on 3/21/2017)
This book was the best one yet. I can't wait for the next one!
