Roshar is a world of stone and storms. Uncanny tempests of incredible power sweep across the rocky terrain so frequently that they have shaped ecology and civilization alike. Animals hide in shells, trees pull in branches, and grass retracts into the soilless ground. Cities are built only where the topography offers shelter.

It has been centuries since the fall of the 10 consecrated orders known as the Knights Radiant, but their Shardblades and Shardplate remain: mystical swords and suits of armor that transform ordinary men into near-invincible warriors. Wars were fought for them, and won by them. One such war rages on the Shattered Plains. There, Kaladin has been reduced to slavery. In a war that makes no sense, where 10 armies fight separately against a single foe, he struggles to save his men and to fathom the leaders who consider them expendable.

Brightlord Dalinar Kholin commands one of those other armies. Like his brother, the late king, he is fascinated by an ancient text called The Way of Kings. Troubled by visions of ancient times and the Knights Radiant, he has begun to doubt his own sanity.

Across the ocean, an untried young woman named Shallan seeks to train under an eminent scholar and notorious heretic, Dalinar's niece, Jasnah. Though she genuinely loves learning, Shallan's motives are less than pure. As she plans a daring theft, her research for Jasnah hints at secrets of the Knights Radiant and the true cause of the war.

Includes The Stormlight Archive 1, 2, 3 and Edgedancer (17 parts) in downloadable format.

Masterpiece meta series <Don't miss this> by John (Posted on 6/18/2018)
Brandon Sanderson was hugely inspired in 1990 when he picked up book one of the Wheel of Time series. A 14 book series that Sanderson himself was asked to finish when the original author, Robert Jordan sadly died.

Sanderson knew early he wanted a long meta series of his own. He is a unique author and he goes out of his way to stay away from the basic and familiar fantasy story tropes that most authors use professionally. His unique magic systems are designed carefully with specific uses and rules. Each of his stories use magic in different ways and there are always more than one magic.

The Stormlight Archive is his ultimate meta story set on a fantastic worldbuilding masterpiece of a planet that is set in a meta worldbuilding juggernaut of a galaxy full of fantastical planets where the majority of his books take place.

Waste no more thought about finding a better story by your other favorite storyteller. Purchase "The Way of Kings." It's time to visit the planet Roshar, sit back and let this "Movie in your mind" break all your illusions of conventional storytelling.
One You Start You Won't Stop by Aaron (Posted on 5/29/2018)
The voice acting and sound effects for this series are so in point that you probably won't be able to switch to audible to finish this series. If you're debating whether this is worth it over audible, the answer is that yes, it's definitely worth it.

LOVE by Juliette (Posted on 3/22/2018)
This was my first Sanderson book and my first Graphic Audio experience and I ADORE both. 30% in I decided The Way of Kings was my new favourite book (it has since been beaten out by Words of Radiance) and I would never want to experience it any other way than Graphic Audio.

Well, unless they do a TV or film adaptation.

This is definitely the next best thing. The voice acting is incredible, I have so much affection for these voices I've listened to for hours upon hours. The sound affects are awesome and combined with the music and voice acting... I have felt moved multiple times... even to the point of tearing up. I wish I could purchase the music so badly!

I have tried reading along with the books and noticed this version is rather abridged. I believe the Audible audiobook is 10hrs longer than this one which is pretty insane... but would agree that a lot of the stuff taken out is unnecessary when voices actors and sound affects are factored in. We don't need to hear the narrator say 'the door slammed' or 'Kaladin said' if we can hear those things for ourselves.

I am incredibly excited for Oathbringer - TWoK and WoR were both such wonderful experiences. I can't wait to delve into it all again!

Worth Every Penny by Donald (Posted on 1/9/2018)
I got this on sale, but even if I didn't, the price is worth it. I haven't read in a long time but this story has brought be back to the world of fantasy. I listen in the car and I now look forward to spending hours in traffic. The battles are amazing. I park my car and just close my eyes and immerse myself in my own imagery. Your experience is as vibrant as your imagination. Try it.

I've listened to many traditional audio books during my daily commute to work, and Graphic Audio is on par with the very best of them. GA's vivid storytelling combined with a story that has the early makings of an all-time classic, Stormlight Archive is an absolutely amazing audio book experience. Can't wait for Oathbringer and the rest of the series (including Edgedancer, I hope) to be released by GA.
Best Series Ever by William (Posted on 12/26/2017)

Stormlight Archive by Ashley (Posted on 8/13/2017)
A must listen!! The story, world, and characters are incredibly gripping. From page one it's hard to stop listening. The actors and sound design are amazing and really bring the world of Roshar to life.
Couldn't stop by Pilar (Posted on 7/3/2017)
Somewhere into the story, I had a hard time making myself stop listening. I didn't know that the story would not be finished after the two books adapted by Graphic Audio.
Because I'm really hooked on this now, I have bought the actual books as well as preordered the one to be published in November.
I'm looking forward to GraphicAudio's take on the forthcoming installment. I hope it won't take too long until their audio version is released.
