Ages 13+
This story is the third part of the "Buckalew Family" trilogy. You can purchase and listen to the first two parts in "Texas Sunrise".

Daniel Provost is the son of a farmer. Living up to his father's high standards for the farm is very hard work, but his life is basically comfortable and a loving woman is waiting to become his wife.

When a well-traveled stranger, bearing a story of Jim Bowie's legendary silver mine, appears at the farm, Daniel might just throw away everything for the chance at adventure he thought had passed him by.

Good story...I loved the Daniel and Milo characters and thought Flor stole the show. The pacing of this story was offbeat, I thought, as it seemed to started well and slowed down in the middle, but really kicked it into high gear as the plotline advanced. It was different and a truly satisfying listen. Recommended!

this was an interesting story. I really didn't know were it was going. I just kept listening.
