The Spear of Lugh, one of the four Kingly Hallows of Ireland is in Chicago. And everyone, everyone wants it, for it is said that he who carries the spear into battle cannot be defeated.

Among those who seek it are an agent of the infamous Wild Hunt; a mobster who knows far more about these things than he should; and of course both the Seelie and Unseelie Courts – the last people PI Mick Oberon would want getting hold of the spear...

But the story is even better and more enjoyable than the first
Great story by William (Posted on 2/25/2017)
Really loved this story. Really fleshed out the world and set up for the next story. Can't wait for it to come out.
Mick is the Man! by Keith (Posted on 11/4/2016)
I love the grit, lingo and laughs that the Mick Oberon books are caulk full of. The first book, Hot Lead, Cold Iron definitely stands out as the better story available in the Graphic Audio versions. But it is only in the lead by a minute margin.

I am very excited to get my hands on the 3 book!

You know how to whistle...you put your lips together and blow by Daniel (Posted on 12/28/2015)
This has the feel of an old classic detective story with magic and myth mixed in.The plot has a really good mystery; there is a lot of setup for the next one and I can't wait to see what is next.

I love the classic femme fatale scene. It's nice to have story set in Chicago for a change and I love the fact that the local attractions are highlighted. The music and sound effects were perfect, nothing to loud or didn't feel right. I love when it feels like a movie.

Mick is just a snarky and we get to see some of of his actual detective work. Eric Messner is amazing; he does a good Irish lilt and he does a great job of putting emotion into the character and the narration. I have a listened to it at least 4 times now and it's still amazing
