Blood Bond
1 : Blood Bond

by William W. Johnstone and J.A. Johnstone
Jun 1, 2007
5 Hours
978-1-59950-333-2
Ages 18+
Young Matt Bodine and Sam Two Wolves became blood brothers on the day the rancher's son saved the half breed's life, forging a bond no one could ever break. Beneath the Montana big sky, Matt learned the ways of the Cheyenne from his friend. And as years passed, a legend grew of the breed and the white man who rode together-and who could jerk killing iron with the best of them...

Tensions in the territory are running red hot, what with Lone Dog and his band of renegades scalping settlers by the dozen. Meanwhile, in the town of Cutter, greedy rancher Tom Thomas is recruiting an army of gun hawks to steal Indian land. War is brewing and it seems Bodine and Two Wolves are going to be forced to choose sides. Because General Armstrong Custer and his men are riding fast toward the Little Big Horn River. And there's only going to be two kinds of folk in the bloody battle that's about to begin-the kind that kill... and the kind that die.

Johnstone's Blood Bond by Michael (Posted on 3/7/2017)
I have been a fan of westerns since they were fist printed. This audio book is truly a movie in your mind. I like it and give up 5 stars with no hesitation. One small request to Graphic Audio digital effects & Mr. Johnstone, please take a moment to research the war cry of the Native American Indian. Each tribe had their own unique war cry and some tribes attacked in silence. While no one on earth would normally pick up on this, I did only because the same battle cry clip was reused so often...

good series - - - slow first book by Albert (Posted on 3/27/2016)
Overall the series is very good, but the first book tells the backstory more than any of the other books--- so don't judge the series by this one book. in truth book two is great, so if you don.t get hooked, give it a second chance.
Blood Bond Series by Lisa (Posted on 2/8/2016)
For anyone who likes Westerns, this whole series is great! Good for most ages as well, so even with the kids in the back seat you're good to go! There is nothing like the full cast and all the sound effects in a Graphic Audio story!
Blood Bonds Vol.1 by Delbert (Posted on 11/9/2015)
Was looking for a new series, and found this a great one, the storyline is well believable, and keeps you wanting 2 move on to the next book.

I enjoy Johnstone's books this series has a great story in every book.
Blood Bond by Lowell (Posted on 10/31/2013)
After finishing the First Mountain Man series, I was worried that Blood Bond wouldn't live up to Preacher. The actor playing Matt Bodine was a little "stiff" at first, but quickly fell into a good rythym and made the character his own. Excellent listen in my opinion.
blood bond #1 by Sandra (Posted on 10/12/2013)
I am ordering two more of this series for hubby. He liked the first one.
Review by Jason Rappold (Posted on 5/23/2013)

Review by Lee Klopack (Posted on 5/23/2013)
Blood Bond #1 is better than I expected. I was happy to have enjoyed this one almost as much as The First Mountain Man #1. I can see this series improving with each release. I am currently listening to #2. Thanks Graphic Audio!
