Falcon MacCallister never thought he'd wear army brass. But Colorado is about to join the Union-and the would-be state has just made him Lt. Colonel in its Home Guard. Then, before his military career can take off, Falcon loses one of his men and two deadly new Gatling guns to a murderous ambush. Falcon is going to get those Gatling guns back-before they kill the wrong people.

Tracing the missing guns to Eastern Montana, Falcon teams up with a scout named Isaiah Dorman. Falcon and Dorman are spearheading a battle against the Sioux-in the shadow of the disastrous Little Big Horn slaughter. For the two men, survival along the Little Bighorn is going to mean breaking rules, standing strong, standing together-and holding off a deadly onslaught with only a few guns against many...

Overall I liked the story, however it does not fit into the series. This is a stand alone title. I have Graphic Audio Eagle Series 1 thru 16. Number 14 does not fit into the sequence story line.
Jamie and Falcon are both at the Big horn. The filler story does not mention his dead wife or his bloody trail of revenge. He now lives in his Jamie's house and not his ranch. Jamie's house now has electricity and a phone. Also He talks about Airplanes and cars.
By itself this is a likable audiobook. Graphic Audio did a great job bringing it to life, but if your a Die Hard Lover of Western's this book will probably disappoint you.

If you enjoyed and liked the 4th in the series and the death of Jamie - you may not enjoy this one. This story shoots all to hell the story of Falcon going to find his wife's grave and her death. Both Jamie and Falcon are NOW at the Big Horn. Not that good in keeping with the early story. BUT the audio performances are GREAT!!!
