Forest Kingdom Saga
Hawk and Fisher 1

by Simon R. Green
Aug 1, 2010
5 Hours
Ages 13+
In the city of Haven, no one is safe. Hawk and Fisher do their best to enforce what law there is, but swords and battle-axes are sometimes no match for the supernatural. When an important politician dies behind a door locked from the inside, Captain Hawk and his wife and partner, Captain Isobel Fisher, must seek the truth amid suspects that include a sorcerer, a witch, the otherworldly creatures they can command and worse: the dead man's political rivals. Magic and corruption combine in a city where everything is for sale - except justice.

Murder Mystery Fun by Travis (Posted on 12/5/2017)
I really liked the whole murder mystery aspect of this story. It's unique for a fantasy. Usually I'm good at picking out whodunit, but I actually guessed wrong in this one. GA does a wonderful job adapting it into an audio drama. Bravo!
This book is completely awesome!!! by SilverMoonSharon (Posted on 2/22/2017)
I love this book. I received it as a gift from a friend of mine. I read the next three books after this one, but this one even still is my absolute favorite. I do hope you will consider purchasing it.

a good listen by Tara Conklin (Posted on 7/24/2014)
I caught part of this story on book radio back when xm still had that channel and i was hooked. I had never heard graphic audio before and I thought they did an amazing job telling the story. I now have all the forest kingdom saga stories.
An adventure that keeps your mind off of bordem: by Jason (Posted on 11/22/2013)
As always a great performance by the cast and crew. I'm a huge fantasy nut. I Like swords and I like sorcery. This volume has both. Not as much action as I would have liked, but still a must read for Simon R. Green and Graphic audio fans.
Decent by Mats (Posted on 9/14/2013)
I found this story to be a bit uneven, but the good outweights the bad. Some parts of this murder myestery is really predictable while others are somewhat obscure. Some times you will wish they just get on with it since you already know whats gonna happen. Still, its filled with all the great acting and production values that makes us love Graphic Audio.
Review by Karen Collier (Posted on 5/23/2013)
Production quality is great! Acting is very good. The story drags through the first CD but builds well and steadily from two until the end! Sort of a Harry Potter meets Perry Mason (in a good and funny way) and yet entertaining all the way.
Review by William Wiggins (Posted on 5/23/2013)
Primarily a "murder mystery" with lots of narrative and very little action. Not what I expected from listening to the sample. Great production quality as always, but I had to push myself to finish it.
Review by Ken Retzloff (Posted on 5/23/2013)
Started a little slow but ended great. it took me a while in hawk & Fisher installments to realize it really is Rupert & Julia. Should of gotten it right away with the eye patch alone. gonna buy beyond the blue moon right now! Cant wait to see their return.
