Listen to the story that launched the internationally bestselling Templar Chronicles series...

Captain Cade Williams and the newly formed Echo Team are sent to the city of Boston to investigate reports of a mysterious blood cult and the disappearance of several members of the Templar Order. What they find will have repercussions that echo well into the future...

This story introduces the character of Cade Williams, a former Boston SWAT officer who developed certain unusual powers in the wake of an encounter with a supernatural entity known as the Adversary. The events that unfold in this story form some of the background for A TEAR IN THE SKY, the third book in the Templar Chronicles series.

Love this story! by Stacey (Posted on 11/10/2016)
This intro was really cool. I ended up buying the rest of the series, and am extremely satisfied! The characters are fascinating, and very well described, so you really can picture the story in your head!
Loved this into! by Amy (Posted on 9/3/2016)
This intro to the world of the Templar Chronicles was so good! I loved Cade's voice, his camaraderie with his team, and I loved the foreshadowing for the main series. Just got the first one and cannot WAIT to listen to it soon :)
Tantalizing by Nathan (Posted on 6/23/2016)
This was short and sweet. It included enough give you a sense of the main character and what kind of action you can expect from the rest of the series. It definitely interested me enough to go farther into the series! My only complaint is that everyone that isn't the main character seemed expendable, like there was no reason to get attached to them because they were cannon fodder or something.

My Husband and I love the books.
Great Filler of time by J.R. (Posted on 1/18/2016)
between other audio books I have ordered or have already listened to, this was a great filler. Very happy I found GA. Also recommend the other short stories.
Good book by justin (Posted on 12/8/2015)
This was a good story I really liked it
Gripping and addicting! by Kathleen (Posted on 11/16/2015)
This short story really pulled me into the Templar Chronicles world and left me wanting more. I'm not really the biggest fan of the fantasy vampire genre, but this series seems really gritty and action packed. I definitely plan on checking out the rest of the Templar stories now.
Templar Chronicles This Cleansing Fire by Glenn (Posted on 11/6/2015)
Good for a short teaser story. May have to bite bullet and try one of these titles.
I liked it by Helgi Gunnar (Posted on 10/23/2015)
Very good for a short story. Those who like dark urban fantasy should listen to this.
This cleansing fire by Scott (Posted on 10/17/2015)
A few years ago a stumbled across a book in this series and even though I wasn't sure what exactly was going on I thoroughly enjoyed the story. This one does a fair job of giving the background information needed to understand the world this series takes place in. Again the acting is well done and enjoyable.
in your face by dewayne (Posted on 9/11/2015)
Wow. Tense. In your face story. Will be getting some more of the series.
This Cleansing Fire by Joseph (Posted on 6/27/2015)
Interesting take on the templars--definitely on my list to listen to more.
loved it by randall (Posted on 4/3/2015)
I love the modern twist to the old templar legends. I would have liked a bit more back story for the characters. That is the only reason I gave this one a 4. I know it is a short story, but I just wanted more. Thats a good thing.

Meh..
This Cleansing Fire by Bill (Posted on 11/12/2014)
I'm really digging this story. It has a decent mix of action, mysticism(not banging you over the head with it) and a bit of suspense. I'll be purchasing one of the full length stories as soon as I finish the I'm currently listening to.

Quite Good by JoeGlory (Posted on 8/14/2014)
Quite a good short. Definitely sold me on GraphicAudio and I am really looking forward to this series. It is never a genre I would have read, so it is quite exciting.
Lots of action but little plot by Andrew (Posted on 6/27/2014)
Its a pretty good listen but not much on dialogue.
Another GREAT Intro! I'm hooked already! by Armand (Posted on 5/31/2014)
This short was excellent! And, it has the action I like with the fantasy/SciFi theme I like. Can't wait to download and listen to them all!

8-)
Well told by Tom (Posted on 5/26/2014)
I must admit I am not a vampire fan but this is a good storyline with some compelling action. The challenge is that the plot leaves for little dialogue so it's a hard script for audio, but the narrative is solid and it does keep you engaged. Definitely worth checking out.

Hook, Line & Sinker by John (Posted on 9/21/2013)
Always read each book series in order... it allows the story to continue with continuity otherwise you will be a bit confused.
This teaser will hook you and drag you in by WerewolfDad (Posted on 9/18/2013)
This teaser is a lead in for a series not not listen to it unless you are ready to be blownaway and ready to buy the rest of the series. It has great action and leaves you wanting more. Another great job by GA.
hooked by Curt (Posted on 8/24/2013)

Should I listen to This Cleansing Fire before 1: The Heretic, Or before 3: A Tear in the Sky?
Review by Johnny Tai (Posted on 5/23/2013)
A nice little teaser to prepare us for the series. Kinda short and lacking on any development, but you get a good idea on what you're going to find, and it's free.

I like the use of the Chinese vamps...nice touch on the author's part- though I feel the author could've researched a bit more on that particular type of monster to make them appear more authentic.

It's a bit pointless to come up with a cool kind of enemy and then just have them charge in like any ordinary evil monsters.
