Town Called Fury
4 : Redemption

by William W. Johnstone and J.A. Johnstone
Mar 1, 2012
5 Hours
Ages 18+
Built on dreams. Forged in blood. Defended with bullets. The town called Fury is home to the bravest pioneers to ever stake a claim in the American West.

His name is Jonas Lynch. A California gunman with a blood-soaked past, he arrives in Fury, Arizona, looking for redemption. Unfortunately, Lynch's reputation precedes him and Marshal Jason Fury is none too thrilled about harboring a wanted criminal-even if Lynch seems like a decent man. One revenge-seeking enemy wants Lynch dead. Another reward-hungry bounty hunter wants him alive. And for the next few days, the town of Fury will be caught in the crossfire. Sure, half the town is busy building a brand-new church, but Jason and Lynch know that some sinners can't be saved-and some devils can't be killed-without one hell of a showdown...

This series left me longing for more. I will definitely grab another if one becomes available.

My problem with this book is with the book itself. Graphic Audio did the best with what they had, but there really isn't much going on in this book. It is nice to return to Fury, and the characters are all ones you care about, but I recommend the other three more than this one.

Oddly low-tone, this book has some dull moments, and yet it is strangely touching and has great heart-warming scenes- even that ending is very...home-like...

Kind of hard to get used to a different narrating voice though- I keep thinking of Rogue Angel instead lol.

I am really enjoying reading this series- following the ordinary lives of ordinary characters, watching the town grow...though there are alot of boring sections where I fall asleep listening, it is a very nice series all together.
