Ages 18+
The year is 2089...

America and much of the world is a post-apocalyptic nightmare...

Ted Rockson and his small band of soldiers fight to rid the land of a Soviet occupational force bent on world domination. But Rockson not only has the enemy to contend with, for out of the ashes of the nuclear devastation of World War III, the Earth has become one large death zone. Mutated animals, destructive storms and barbaric humans now roam the land. Death seems to be everywhere. Hope seems fleeting. But Rockson will not give up. A loose confederation of secret American Free Cities dots the countryside and awaits its time to rise and challenge the Soviet armies. They shall be led by the Doomsday Warrior.

Maximum 80s by ZJ (Posted on 8/20/2018)
I generally like post-apocalypse fiction, so thought I'd give this one a try. It is super 80s, by which I mean it's very much like one of the gratuitous action movies from that decade. It's an okay way to pass some time but it was a bit too over the top for me.

Even though I didn't dig the story so much, there is no deviation in the excellent quality of GA's production on this title.

An Entertaining Yarn for Action and Adventure Lovers! by Jason (Posted on 5/15/2016)
This first book in the Doomsday Warrior series, was one of the very first Graphic Audio productions I heard and bought. If your a fan of action and adventure, you'll like this series. It may not have much in the way of plot, but its got great acting, music, and sound effects. I love action and adventure, I love badass Heros and Dastardly villins. The character of Ted Rockson is definitely badass and heroic, even though he's got an ego problem, and a less than loyal record in his loyalty to women in relationships. And the Character of Kelov is perhaps one of the most evil villins in all of fiction. And was performed Perfectly by MR. James Connacheck who also narrates the series. I give it a five out of five.

I love this story. It is a great listen as I drive cross country. In fact its good enough to listen to multiple times. I am working on buying the entire series. I realky enjoy the multitude of mutated creatures and plant life. It is very creative. I can really loose myself in this story.

The book is extremely addictive, I have been listening to audio books and just happen to stop at a gas station on the high way and bought one of the books. great audible entertainment. This book depicts a conglamorate of charters that keeps me glued to my iPod so much so that i have spend over a $100 just buying this series.

Doomsday Warrior 1 : Doomsday Warrior by TIM (Posted on 10/3/2013)
I have listened to this set. It is a a bit out there because russia is a friendly nation now however when the book was written they were the red enemy. The book the art work on the the case is cool. The story was good plot points. The free sample of the trucker series was good. I plan to give this series a run because I bought the complete set of cds. WARNING NOT FOR CHILDREN!!! A PART OF THIS WAS A TEEN THAT WAS RAPED AND BURNED BY THE REDS AND OTHER UNSPEAKABLE ACTS. Due to that scene I have to remove 1 headphone. The rest of the set was entertaining.

A great start to a new series.

I read this one quite a while ago, but I gotta confess it was love at first listen. It's just got a good sound to it, and though it's characters are a bit too predictable, I'm definitely hooked on it simply because it's great to watch big cool weapons and big strong bad ass fighters kick ass to blaring rock music. Definitely worth the read. It's a bit weak as far as plot goes which is why I"m only giving it a four, but it makes up for it with style and purely brilliant production quality. Also, it's got Dave Coin starring as the lead protagonist, so if you enjoyed his work as Jamy Macalister in Eagles, you'll definitely love it.
Review by David VanDehy (Posted on 5/23/2013)
Not one of my favorite series on GA. But as all are its very well produced and done.

I have to admit though that I do have several of this series and do enjoy listening to them but not to the point where I wear them out yet.

If you liked the movie Red Dawn, you'll like this

If you like action you'll like this

This is like every 80's action movie crammed all into one

It's totally way over the top, action packed..

Ted Rockson is really, truly, the Ultimate American
Review by Richard Edwards (Posted on 5/23/2013)
A very good first tale in the series. We liked it so much that we just ordered the next installment. Good story, good characters and some interesting ideas on how people and other living things might change/adapt following nuclear attacks. Action, some thought provoking ideas and the usual great job by the Graphic Audio crew.
