The Midnight Watch was THE security firm back in its day. If you wanted something or someone protected, you hired the Watch. That was until it’s founder was mysteriously murdered on the eve of his retirement 50 years ago. A malevolent force has jealously guarded the building ever since, killing every potential new owner that enters the building. When zombie private detective Matt Richter’s girlfriend becomes the new owner, the force literally begins draining her life’s blood, and with just seconds to act, only Matt can save her, with no weapons to fight back. Except the one weapon which has always served him best, alive or dead. His mind…

Great mini episode between books by Amy (Posted on 10/5/2016)
Title says all. This was a fantastic little byte (ha) between books 1 and 2.
The Tone Whets the Appetite by Catdaddy (Posted on 2/28/2016)
Just a half hour long, the story is the perfect size for one of GraphicAudio's "little bytes ". It's a charming, atmospheric piece centering on Matt Richter’s relationship with Devona… and to say more might ruin the fun. This reviewer hadn't listened to the first Nekropolis story in a while, and “The Midnight Watch" did it's job: reminding us how charming this series is, and nudging me towards listening to the next installment. If you have not heard “Meet Matt Richter…,” fear not. The story stands alone: dive in. Recommended.
the story continues by Idongesit (Posted on 10/21/2015)
this short story is really good. I recommend it to fans or those who want to get into Nekropolis.
It made things fun by Daniel (Posted on 2/7/2015)
I liked the idea of a Security Firm in the city of the Undead. The story holds your attention and gives you a sense of the permanent dusk that is the city. Picking up more of the Necropolis titles hoping that things continue to look up.
Love these tidbits! by Meagan (Posted on 12/16/2014)
I am really loving the little side stories. They give you extra info on the background of the main story and, they are just as well written/preformed and just as entertaining.

Plus, the length is good for short rides or killing time in a waiting room

Matt is back!!! This short serves as a lead in to the next book in the series Dead Streets. I enjoy the in between stories while waiting for the next in the series to become available.
Nekroplis; The Midnight Watch by Mary Jo (Posted on 10/5/2014)
I have enjoyed the 3 original novels of the series. This 'little byte' fills in nicely about how The Midnight Watch was obtained.

More please! by Laura (Posted on 7/2/2014)
Really enjoying these "little bytes" and as Nekropolis is now one of my fav series - it's nice to be able to download/listen to these shorter stories of Matt Richter, Zombie PI's adventures while in anticipation of the next full-length book to be released! Keep 'em coming! :D
Great for a short drive! by Andrew (Posted on 5/30/2014)
This is a great way to sample Nekropolis for the price, and the story isn't bad either.
