What do you get when you combine a self-willed zombie with a half-human vampire? That burning question was left unanswered at the end of Nekropolis 3, Dark War, when we learned that half vampire Devona and her zombie Private Investigator husband, Matt Richter, were expecting twins. “I know you’re wondering how a dead man could impregnate a half-human, half-vampire woman. The short answer is magic. The long answer is none of your goddamned business.”

In Dark War, Matt and Devona saved Nekropolis and our earth from colliding, saving both worlds from destruction. Now, can the two of them save their own family from a magical force that wants to rip it apart?

good short, creepier than the others by Casey (Posted on 7/8/2018)
good short story. really makes me want the next book, if there is going one
Questions answered but... so many more raised by Idongesit (Posted on 10/14/2017)
Another good addition to the story of Matt and Devona Richter. After the cliffhanger ending to Dark War I'd hoped there'd be some answers given and while Tim and GA didn't disappoint in some ways, more questions remain. What kind of magic do the twins possess? Both Varvara and Galm noted that Lily and Toby were unique in that regard. What'll Matt do now that he's (at least temporarily) Darklord of the Dead and most importantly...what did Edrigu do?! Basically what i'm saying is that I want more Nekropolis novels ASAP!!
Too short by Amy (Posted on 6/27/2017)
I loved this little story. I loved seeing Matt and Devona welcome their children into the world. Obviously, things go sideways at one point, and I loved how the dynamic duo dealt with the issue.

Now, since this is not a short story you can get anywhere else (I checked. It's not even listed on Goodreads), I'm hoping that means, like Damien said, that Tim Waggoner might write a new book just for Graphic Audio. GA has done this with Deathlands so far, and I know they plan on doing it with other series of theirs. It would be fantastic to see more of Matt and Devona's adventures, especially after all that's given from this and the end of Dark War. Please?
it was good. by rafael (Posted on 6/26/2017)
what can I say. It was a good short story. It would be a good beginning of a full book.
Mostly a tease by damien (Posted on 6/24/2017)
It's nice to have a little more of the story after Dark War ended on such a cliffhanger. It answers a few questions, but raises more such as "maybe the author would write book 4 for Graphic Audio. Hint hint". Mostly though I have to give credit to the sound engineer for the single creepiest sound I have ever heard from a monster. You know what I am talking about.
