Andrew Dare is a werewolf. He’s the enforcer for the Roanoke pack, and responsible for capturing or killing any Were intruders in Roanoke’s territory. But the lone Were he’s tracking doesn’t smell or act like anyone he’s ever encountered. And when he catches her, it doesn’t get any better. She’s beautiful, she’s crazy, and someone has tortured her by injecting silver into her veins. She says her name is Silver, and that she’s lost her wild self and can’t shift any more.

The packs in North America have a live-and-let-live attitude, and try not to overlap with each other. But Silver represents a terrible threat to every Were on the continent.

Andrew and Silver will join forces to track down this menace while discovering their own power and their passion for each other.

I loved this book it drew me further and further into the story the more I listened to it, I cannot wait to listen to the other 3. The excitement just keep growing and growing as the story went on.
Didn't quite do it for me by ZJ (Posted on 8/30/2018)
First off, most werewolf stories don't do much for me. I know. I know. I checked this one out because, in my experience, GA picks good work to adapt and their production improves the overall experience of many stories. Unfortunately, this one didn't quite do it for me. The plot and characters all struck me as rather flat, but perhaps that's not entirely a fair criticism of the opening book in a series. On the other hand, I think the first book in a series really needs to grab the audience. This one just didn't grab me, which was disappointing because I actually would like to find some werewolf stories that I really enjoy. I may try World of the Lupi later on, but I think I'll be steering clear of werewolf stories for a bit.

It should be noted that Colleen Delany was great as narrator, and that the work from GA was on-point as usual in this production. Their great work did add to the experience of the story, even if the story didn't end up really grabbing me.

I can't personally say I'd recommend this story, but the opinion of somebody who is more into werewolf fiction is probably of more weight than mine. Which is to say, don't make your choice based on my review alone.
excellent by T'Aundria (Posted on 5/16/2018)
Took a minute to get into, I thought the book was going to have a different outcome, I guess that's what I get for trying to figure it out instead of just listening to it. All in all I enjoyed it.
Pleasantly Surprised by ryan (Posted on 9/2/2016)
So I picked this up on a bit of a whim. Not usually one for werewolf stories but this was actually rather good. The plot is engaging and the characters are well acted as well as fleshed out. Having the main love interest being literally insane could be very tricky but I thought it was done rather well here. All in all enjoyed this book and the acting done here.

Thought this would be boring, but it's just another excellent story.
Able to stand out in the werewolves/shifters/paranormals croud by Paul (Audiobook Reviewer) (Posted on 4/15/2016)
This one took a bit to pull me into the story, while not really slow….it took a bit to get a feel for the story, the world and what was happening, we find out the particulars as Dare finds them out. The frustrating part of it is my mind going off in all directions trying to figure out what is happening so I would miss things and have to go back and listen again while trying to shut my brain off from trying to figure it out. I really liked Dare even when he was being dumbass about who and what Silver is to him. Silver was a pretty kick ass girl and despite her fear of what she went through she pulled it together enough to take care of what needed to be done. There are so many stories out these days about werewolves/shifters/paranormals that while still good many of them just blend together, this story did not feel like that. Style wise it reminded me of the Mercy Thompson and Alpha & Omega series but it was still it’s own story (it that makes sense….it does in my head….just not sure it translates well) and not one that blends in with so many of the others. I’m not going to go into details of the story, every time I do there are just to many spoilers, and I think part of what makes the story (at least for me) was finding out what happened when Dare did as he was investigating.

Narration was fabulous, I feel very repetitive when I talk about the graphic audio narrations, but I can’t go on enough about how much I love the full cast narrations. While some of the sound effects/music thrown in can be a bit cheesey it really works for the stories I have listened to so far. When I am reading or listening to a book my mind processes like a movie so when you throw a full cast narration into that it really takes the story to a new level. I know I have said this in other review’s but I will say it again this type of narration would not work for all stories….but I wish that all books could have this type of full cast narration….it just gives some much more “oomph” to the storytelling. So go on and get the graphic audio….you know you want too

Really good but the story is a bit flat in the end. But the second book is worth it.

Great Production by April (Posted on 2/6/2016)
This was my first graphicAudio I have listened to which i really enjoyed. It was a good story that I think garphicAudio elevated to another level. I have to agreed with the tag line it did feel like a movie in my mind.

I listened to all 3 series. Very much hoping that there will be more series in the future. Really enjoyed listening to Silver.
Very awesome series! Wish it was longer! by Allison (Posted on 12/31/2015)
I really enjoyed this series! And I'm glad, according to the current podcast of All In Your Mind, that we're going to get a fourth installment from Rhiannon. Stories about werewolves are just cool, which is one of the reasons I like this one. And, whilst I really like World of the Lupi by Eileen Wilks, I like this series better. And I think the main reason is, that the character of Silver fascinates me! She is just awesome, and the woman who plays her does an excellent job of portraying her. And as far as production value goes, of course as with all GraphicAudio titles I've heard, it is stellar! Major props to all; but as I say, special mention of awesomeness to whoever played Silver, and also to Coleen Delaney, the narrator! I love Coleen! I highly recommend this series to anyone who likes urban fantasy, and stories about kickass werewolves! ^

Good book
Can't go back to regular books on tape!! by Kenneth (Posted on 10/9/2015)
First of all this was my first graphicaudio book and the experience was AWESOME! After listening to this type of book my girlfriend and I tried a regular audio book and we didn't even make it 30 minutes into it before we just stopped listening to it. If you've never listened to an graphic audio book it is amazing. Every character's part is read by a different actor. There is also music and relevant noise/sound added. It makes a book so much more interesting and easy to follow.

Now for this particular book. It was easy to follow and kept both mine and my girlfriend's interest. Every time we drove somewhere we were both excited to continue the story. The actor's did an excellent job. The story itself I thought was a little anticlimactic. The story builds up to the 2 main characters trying to find out who had injured her and killed her werewolf clan. Then near the end they figure it out and shortly thereafter they confront the villain and it's over. If you are a fan of werewolves then definitely get this book.

Overall I give it a 4 out 5.
Thumbs up by Victor (Posted on 9/5/2015)
Was wondering when the vampire popularity was going to go were. Guess it's arrived. Only real difference I found in this and what appears to be becomeing the werewolf "mainstream" is how Silver became Silver.
Wasn't as engaged or impressed with story line as I've been with other storylines GA's produced. However, that based solely on personal preferences. Production quality was there, story wasn't a griper for me.
I did pick up the second book Tarnished. Series isn't bad, just not great to me.

Sometimes we say what we do not mean ! by JEFF GraphicAudio Fan (Posted on 5/17/2015)
I enjoyed the interview with Colleen and Rhiannon; The mind of a writer always fascinates me.
When Rhiannon had said, "Sometimes we say what we do not mean !" she struck a chord with me. Thousands of times this has happened in my life.. saying something, and knowing almost on the spot .. I did not mean to say it like that.. so..so negative (..I would like to apologize)

Thank you Author Rhiannon for taking your time to reflect on what you say and write, and the consideration you show to your readers/listeners.

I too enjoyed this book. I liked how it went into details with the pack mentality and the intersecting character that the hero and heroine share. Really intriguing stuff! A++++

This was a great book. It kept me engaged from the beginning to the end. Well thought out and put together.
Nothing interesting by Ji (Posted on 4/13/2015)
Nothing interesting happens in this story. The characters aren't interesting, and the plot is flat. I waited about to hours for something to happen, and then even that was a disappointment, and I had to wait another two hours for more.

I loved this book! Everything from the narration (love Collen Dellaney's voice) to the actors. I loved this story it was a mystery with deeper plot points on religion (any religion) and how they either bring the very best or the very worst in us. It will give the listener or reader something to think about. I'm going to listen to this one again for sure.
