2 : Alcatraz Versus The Scrivener's Bones

by Brandon Sanderson
Oct 11, 2017
6 Hours
All Ages
In his second skirmish against the Evil Librarians who rule the world, Alcatraz and his ragtag crew of freedom fighters track Grandpa Smedry to the ancient and mysterious Library of Alexandria. Hushlanders―people who live in the Librarian-controlled lands of Canada, Europe, and the Americas―believe the Library was destroyed long ago.

Free Kingdomers know the truth: the Library of Alexandria is still around, and it’s one of the most dangerous places on the planet. For it is the home of the scariest Librarians of them all: a secret sect of soul-stealing Scriveners. Can Alcatraz and his friends rescue Grandpa Smedry and make it out of there alive?

Alcatraz Versus The Scrivener's Bones by J (Posted on 9/1/2018)
Book 2 of the series continues the adventures of Alcatraz. Here, Alcatraz and his posse seek the great Library of Alexandria. Beware - The Scrivener's are NOT your stereotypical librarians. The snark and asides are back for even more fun.
Alcatraz 2 by Roger (Posted on 8/7/2018)
This was a fun and silly second addition. It's light listening with adult theme concepts that make you want to move on to the next book just to see how it plays out. Great Book.
The library of Alexandria by Patrick (Posted on 4/30/2018)
This part focus on the great library of Alexandria, which makes for a very interesting background to the story.
The undead Librarians by Scott (Posted on 4/22/2018)
I liked this second book of the Alcatraz series. Its fun for all ages and appropriate too. I read most of these books when I was younger, but still enjoy them as an older adult. The characters are entertaining and the interesting twist as we learn more about the strange nature of the Talents and thier history is a fun adventure.
These books were MADE for Graphic Audio!! by Amy (Posted on 11/29/2017)
I have not enjoyed an audiobook this much in a while! Truly, I feel this series is tailor made for Graphic Audio's stellar style. I cannot imagine reading this any other way. The actors bring these characters to life. The music, the sounds! Everything all coalesces into a brilliant production. I am so happy book 3 is coming out soon, and book 4 is slated for release. I cannot wait to devour the next book.

Thank you, Graphic Audio, for showing the power of the read story. Voice acting can truly be phenomenal, and y'all have continuously outdone yourselves time and time again. I am so glad to have discovered you <3
So Good I Already Pre-ordered the Third Title of This Series by Diego (Posted on 11/21/2017)
My title kinda says it all but I will elaborate.

This was a phenomenal continuation to what was started in book 1. I found the elements a bit more sinister than the last but Shattering Glass, it was very, very enjoyable, not to mention remarkably funny. And the 4th wall breaking is still strong with the series, which is awesome.

I got to say, the level of quality the crew of Graphic Audio consistently produces is beyond amazing. I have yet to listen to a bad book from this site and I am saying this as someone who owns nearly 60 of their titles as of this review. So, if you are still new to this site and are going in blind for this storyline, prepare to be dazzled!
very exciting by rafael (Posted on 10/23/2017)
