He'd done the old man proud. By leaping into the path of danger, Matt Jensen foiled a train robbery in Colorado and the governor himself presented him with a public reward. But what started on the rails has stayed on the rails-and taken on a life of its own. Now, a frustrated outlaw and his murderous posse have struck again-this time kidnapping the governor's niece. With the power of the law behind him, Matt Jensen, the last mountain man, is riding toward a town called Braggadocio. That's where Matt will learn how to put a bad man down-and to make sure he stays that way...

Matt Jensen The Last Mountain Man 2 by Charles (Posted on 5/14/2018)
Totally agree with the previous reviewers on most thoughts and ideas...but Matt Jensen seems to swerve my expectations. And goes on to a unique ending, My family is enjoying this tales as such we will keep listening. Production and performance is first class.

Review by Eric Erickson (Posted on 5/23/2013)
Enjoyable characterizations, and a nice story for the first 3/4 but then the end sort of feels tacked on. Not my favorite of those I've listened to in the series, but I find the stories comfortable and the vocal work done on Matt Jensen is always enjoyable. find it interesting though, the artwork used for the series doesn't match the tone at all. I actually put off listening to it because of that representation of the character. Truly a case of not judging a book by its cover!h and Dylan Lynch is the perfect narrator!
