In the year 2058, if you want someone to do the hands-on investigative work that requires a little finesse and sensitivity, not to mention the ability to shrug off a good beating in the process, then Zachary Nixon Johnson, the last freelance private eye on earth, is your man.

What starts out as a simple missing persons case for Zach quickly turns into a convoluted and desperate chase for the most unlikely weapon of unimaginable power ever conceived: The Bionic Bikini. With the mega-high-tech assistance of his personal holographic A.I. and snarky best friend/antagonist Harv and his spunky psionic niece Carol, Zach is lead on a convoluted trail of intrigue. Par for the course, Johnson is confronted at every turn by ruthless, power-hungry and, of course, gorgeous women, who all want to get their hands on this bikini. It’s Zach’s job to prevent that from happening by getting his own hands on the bikini.

And yes, he knows exactly how that sounds.

He's Back by Scott (Posted on 2/5/2018)
Zakour is back to his series of a detective in the far future with super powered women. It was a real joy being in his world again. I hope he stays for a while and gives us a few more books. So our favorite mad scientist made a bikini that enhances psychic powers in women so all our powerful women of the past show up so they can be even more powerful.

So Carol, Zack's almost niece and powerful psychic handles her confrontation with the elitism that results by making half the human race psychic and the other half virtual slaves.

This one was an interesting one, it seems to jump back and forth from past to present or maybe it's just me not following but overall it was a good listen.
Still a great series but a bit of rehash by Eric (Posted on 11/23/2017)
I absolutely love the writing and the acting. I've bought every single book from this series. And, they are some of the only books that I listen to over and over again.

There are some strong points to this particular installment. It still has the wry and goofy humor of the other novels. But, I have two niggles:

First, it's just too short. I mean, GA books seem to be getting shorter and the price has gone up again. I realize they can't control the length of a short book. But if it is only going to be a half to two thirds the length of the normal book, the price should reflect that. I actually look at the length of the audio when making buying decisions because I listen to these stories while driving an 8-12 hour haul. So, if I'm buying two books to fill up most of that time, it costs me double what it used to. But on here, an 8 or 9 hour book is the same price as a 4 hour book. I realize that you don't buy a good book solely because of how long it is. But, it is a factor.

Secondly, I wasn't really sure why the author chose to almost word for word rehash the opening story from the Plutonium Blonde. It wasn't a bad retelling. But, surely Mr. Zakour could have come up with something new.

Bottom line: I enjoyed the listen. It was worth buying...moreso if it had been at half the price for such a short installment. But, I didn't feel like this one was one of the more inspired titles. If you want the NB installment that you end up listening to over and over, try "The Radioactive Redhead." I still laugh out loud when listening to that one.
MORE ZACK!! by Armand (Posted on 11/15/2017)
I love this series and glad there is finally more! Smiles a plenty! Love Harv!
Actually, I was a Little Disappointed by Tad (Posted on 10/31/2017)
The original series was a hoot, and maybe I had too long to build my expectations for a new episode, but I thought this one got a little bogged down after about 2 hours. All the femme fatales from the previous episodes return, and it gets confusing. I know it's detective noir, but maybe Zach needs to solve a crime that doesn't involve a babe. Just a suggestion...
Great Performance by Graphic Audio, The story not so much. by Leif (Posted on 9/12/2017)
I love this series it has always been entertaining and fun. This one just seemed to be a rehash of older story lines. Missing some of the basic references that are in every book. Just MHO but it seems like someone did a search for the most popular words and actions in all the books and tossed them into a computer to make a new book.
Great Fun! Sci-Fi comedy at it's best! by Joseph Baneth Allen (Posted on 9/10/2017)
Just finished listening to "Nuclear Bombshell #8 - The Bionic Bikini" released by Graphic Audio.
Zachary Nixon Johnson, the last freelance private investigator on Earth, cruises back into action when Randy, his twistedly perverted scientific genius friend, invents a bikini that enhances the psi-abilities of any woman who wears it. For example, if she has no psi-abilities, the bikini gives her them. If she already has psi-abilities, the bikini turns her into an all powerful goddess with the power to shape reality into her desires.
Randy initially hires Zack to recover the bikini from the former supermodel Tasha Pasha, but it soon becomes a race when all of Earth's powerful psi women want the bikini for themselves. And when Zack discovers who actually commissioned Randy to build the bionic bikini to be made in the first place, all havoc breaks loose.
Great Fun! Sci-Fi comedy at it's best!
Highly Recommended!
Five Stars!

The Bionic Bikini by Steve (Posted on 9/8/2017)
This series was the very first books that introduced me to GA so I was ecstatic to find a new book in this series that I thought was long over. It may be written on a younger readers level but I have really enjoyed all the zany characters in this great series so much it made my summer to find this new title. This entire series never gets old and is one of the great productions from GA. You will love every minute of this series.
Zach makes a very good comeback by Ines (Posted on 9/2/2017)
This is not exactly a full length book, but not bad at 4 hours. Having said that, it is a very funny adventure involving Zach, Carol and HARV in search of a very powerful bikini. The race for the bikini has just started and Zach plans to get his hands on it, women attached and all! Even though this book is not as awesome as the previous books, specially The Sapphire Sirens, the whole series is a lot of fun and Graphic Audio did an amazing job translating it into audio! Another great story for a fantastic series.
Possibly the best GA has to offer by charlie (Posted on 8/27/2017)
I was just re-listening to this whole series and thinking how amazing this whole production is. This is the series I would recommend to anyone wanting to get into audio books.

So great! Zack is back!
Here Zachary is again by Michael (Posted on 8/26/2017)
Another hit from the team of Graphic Audio and John Zakour. The gang is back as fighting to find the truth in amongst a maze of intrigue.

Well done, GA and Mr. Zakour
slightly funny by rafael (Posted on 8/26/2017)
I guess I've gotten use to this series. It's silly and slightly funny. There was nothing new with this story.
Return of a fantastic series by Amy (Posted on 8/23/2017)
Wow oh wow, was it good to hear a new Nuclear Bombshell book! When I first saw that GA was making a new NB story, I almost cried. Nuclear Bombshell is one of my favorite series of all time, thanks to Graphic Audio and John Zakour. This story did not disappoint. I loved how everything tied together. It honestly feels like an ending, but I'd be ok with that, as this was one hell of an ending. There were so many twists and turns, I had whiplash. It was also good to hear from Zack, HARV, Carol and the crew again. These characters feel like friends to me, and it was so good hearing their voices.

Thank you for this, Graphic Audio. This was exactly what I needed. Now I can't wait for Raven-haired Rogue on G.A.S.P
