Ages 18+
Earth, 2512 A.D. Humans have spread across the six arms of the Milky Way galaxy. The Unified Authority controls Earth's colonies with its military made up almost entirely of clones -- until civil war breaks out. Now the U.A. struggles to survive after a devastating attack cut its communications and left its fleets isolated...

Wayson Harris was one of thousands of clones born and bred to be the ultimate soldiers. But as an outlawed model, he was different from the rest -- possessing independent thoughts and an addiction to violence.

Stranded on a frontier planet, Harris is desperate to get back to civilization -- and back into the fight. But the rebel factions are warring among themselves, and Harris is contacted by a group that wants to return to the Unified Authority's command and protection -- and they want Harris to deliver their offer of allegiance.

Unable to resist the thrill of battle, Harris finds himself in the uniform of a U.A. Marine once more, leading a strike against the enemy. But the rebels have a powerful ally no one could have imagined...

Reviews

A Solid Episode That Stands in Its Own by Catdaddy (Posted on 8/25/2018)
Though the story is connected to the first two installments, a clear and succinct recap about a half-hour in will bring the listeners easily up to speed. Again, the narration is first-person, which always makes GraphicAudio productions more immediate and engaging. Like the first two installments, this is very much a military story. It is well into the second hour before we even hear a female voice in the drama. Like previous installments, this story is centered around a buddy-soldier theme, two operatives on a covert mission, with a metric ton of military battle tactics. It also features a terrific, "Christian Slater"-style voice performance with a hint of "Archie Andrews" as a character named Ilyich. The only complaint here is that Ken Jackson, who voices the narrator in first person, pitches our hero as emotionally flat, which somewhat undercuts the intensity of the action. Maybe it's a clone thing.

The drama contains surprisingly little adult language (using the euphemism "speck", until a delightfully profane briefing in hour five) and only occasional combat violence.

This was the first of this series I had listen to. If this were a paper book it would be listed as a real page turner. I pulled into my driveway and did not want to get out of my truck until it was over. I truly look forward to getting the whole series.
