Sixkiller, U.S. Marshal
2 : Day of Rage

by William W. Johnstone and J.A. Johnstone
Oct 1, 2013
5 Hours
Ages 18+
It was there for the taking: $75,000 in gold bullion, the combined payrolls of the three productive gold mines, just waiting to be stolen from under the noses of a bickering sheriff and city marshal. Billy Ray Gilmore and his band of kill-crazy outlaws have a plan to do it too ... that is, until Sixkiller comes to town. Hiding his badge to conceal his identity as a U.S. Marshal, Sixkiller goes undercover to smoke out the culprits before they strike. But in this town full of four-legged rattlesnakes, deadly surprises lurk behind every saloon door. To keep from being bitten, Sixkiller will have to lay a few traps of his own. Lucky for him, what this town lacks in law, it makes up for in guns and dynamite.

Again the Johnstone books are awesome, they can't do wrong. I enjoy the the background on each of the main characters. Keeps you guessing until the end, love it

I love under cover action, and this is no exception.
Marshal J. H. is back with another case. This time is out of the blue. Having to go under cover he suddenly is dodging bullets and in the middle of what could be the biggest pay load in cash about to be stolen.

To complicate things, he is being stocked by a woman who calls him her husband and keeps turning up at the oddest places.
