GraphicAudio® A Movie in Your Mind® proudly releases THE WAY OF KINGS, the first of ten planned titles in New York Times Bestselling author, Brandon Sanderson’s epic fantasy series, THE STORMLIGHT ARCHIVE.

Roshar is a world of stone and storms. Uncanny tempests of incredible power sweep across the rocky terrain so frequently that they have shaped ecology and civilization alike. Animals hide in shells, trees pull in branches, and grass retracts into the soilless ground. Cities are built only where the topography offers shelter.

It has been centuries since the fall of the 10 consecrated orders known as the Knights Radiant, but their Shardblades and Shardplate remain: mystical swords and suits of armor that transform ordinary men into near-invincible warriors. Wars were fought for them, and won by them. One such war rages on the Shattered Plains. There, Kaladin has been reduced to slavery. In a war that makes no sense, where 10 armies fight separately against a single foe, he struggles to save his men and to fathom the leaders who consider them expendable.

Brightlord Dalinar Kholin commands one of those other armies. Like his brother, the late king, he is fascinated by an ancient text called The Way of Kings. Troubled by visions of ancient times and the Knights Radiant, he has begun to doubt his own sanity.

Across the ocean, an untried young woman named Shallan seeks to train under an eminent scholar and notorious heretic, Dalinar's niece, Jasnah. Though she genuinely loves learning, Shallan's motives are less than pure. As she plans a daring theft, her research for Jasnah hints at secrets of the Knights Radiant and the true cause of the war.

Director Rose Supan says, “Brandon Sanderson is at the top of his game with THE STORMLIGHT ARCHIVES. It's an honor to direct this story. The actors as well as our production team are thrilled to be a part of the process as well. I can proudly proclaim that the listener is in for a truly immersive experience!”

Love These Narrators by Keri (Posted on 9/8/2018)

Ok, seriously, this is Brandon Sanderson. Really there isn't anything else to say. Oh, except that listening to a Brandon Sanderson book in graphic audio only makes things even more amazing.

Love these narrators!
Love it by Daniel (Posted on 8/24/2018)

Keep listening, meta series in progress by John (Posted on 6/18/2018)
**There are alot of characters and actors needed to voice them. Listening close you could hear 1 actor speaking for more than 1 person. Keep in mind that graphic audio only employs so many voice actors. I'm on book 3 right now. They are getting better.**

Brandon Sanderson was hugely inspired in 1990 when he picked up book one of the Wheel of Time series. A 14 book series that Sanderson himself was asked to finish when the original author, Robert Jordan sadly died.

Sanderson knew early he wanted a long meta series of his own. He is a unique author and he goes out of his way to stay away from the basic and familiar fantasy story tropes that most authors use professionally. His unique magic systems are designed carefully with specific uses and rules. Each of his stories use magic in different ways and there are always more than one magic.

The Stormlight Archive is his ultimate meta story set on a fantastic worldbuilding masterpiece of a planet that is set in a meta worldbuilding juggernaut of a galaxy full of fantastical planets where the majority of his books take place.

Waste no more thought about finding a better story by your other favorite storyteller. Purchase "The Way of Kings." It's time to visit the planet Roshar, sit back and let this "Movie in your mind" break all your illusions of conventional storytelling.
Deep chatactyes by Mr Ryan P (Posted on 6/1/2018)
It’s cool to be able to see the story and characters develop. The voice usage is great. Acting brings this great epic story to life in your mind.
Engaging by Ryan P (Posted on 6/1/2018)
Part one laid out the world building in this fascinating world, and this one kicks it into motion with plot lines taking over showcasing thing performances.
Same Graphic Audio Quality by Aaron (Posted on 5/29/2018)
This book is of equal quality as the book that came before it. However, the book itself tends to drag on. I honestly can't imagine that I could have finished this book if I was listening to it via the one narrator audio version. The voice acting and sound effects of Graphic Audio saved it for me. And the next books are a lot more satisfying that it makes all the setting up here worth it.
Great Voice Acting and Sound Effects by Aaron (Posted on 5/29/2018)
The voice acting is so on point that I can't even imagine listening to this as an audiobook from any other publisher or medium.
The way of kings by Derrick (Posted on 4/30/2018)

Interested by Norman (Posted on 4/20/2018)
The character development takes a while. But it is so well done.
Simply Addictive by Tonya (Posted on 3/13/2018)
I can't stop listening... I love how each character is brought to life.
Continued Amazingness by Travis (Posted on 3/4/2018)
Really liking this audio adaptions of THE WAY OF KINGS. Casie Platt and Zoe Badovinac portray Shallan and Jasnah perfectly. I read along as I listen and they make the characters come to life just how I'd imagine them. It's a pleasure to listen to their scenes together, I'm always looking forward to it.
the way of kings 2 OF 5 by ricky (Posted on 1/11/2018)
just like the first you can not stop can not wait for the next
Great Voice Acting by Donald (Posted on 1/3/2018)
I haven't read the book, so I did not already have a pre-conceived image of the characters. That said, I believe the voice actors in GA do a great job portraying their characters.
Great Beginning to a New World by Armand (Posted on 11/9/2017)

Journey Before Destination by Amanda (Posted on 10/14/2016)
Part 2 builds upon the success of the previous instalment. I was very excited to see Wit brought to life in this format, as he's my favourite character. I can't get over how much the sound effects add to the story! Keep up the good work guys.
amazing by ryan (Posted on 9/2/2016)
Alright so I wasnt fully sure about this series but i liked the first one well enough but thought it kind of slow. This one though dispelled all doubts and i was fully invested. The music score in this fix the scenes so well and gave me the feels in some places and the voice acting was basically perfect.
Brandon Sanderson is the man by andrew (Posted on 8/25/2016)
Again and again this man blows me away. The way of kings became my favorite book of all time! Until I read Words of Radiance!!!
Very captivating by kyle (Posted on 8/24/2016)
Can't get enough
Depth by rippling_Fire (Posted on 8/3/2016)
This chapter expands on the character sketches layed out the in first. The back stories of the main characters start to fill in, giving the story more defined texture. However this also opens more shadowy places, blind spots, causing futher suspense and dramatic tention
Awesome continuation of the story! by Amy (Posted on 7/25/2016)
Just finished this part yesterday, and am currently on part 3. I love this story so much. I honestly don't know if I could ever just read a straight prose version of this novel. I just.....the story is enhanced by the amazing GA quality, I feel. I got so bored just reading the book, so I'm glad that GA produced this story, giving it life. I adore all of the characters, and the way the actors portray them. I love how the interludes are done, and I love listening to the visions of the past. Can't wait to finish this story!
Shard plate and blades are awesome! by Steven (Posted on 6/27/2016)
This book has awesome battle scenes! The voices are a bit off from what I had in my head, but such is life. Toward the middle part of sanderson's books they get kind of politic-y but it adds a balance of action and intrigue.
Book 2 of 5 by justin (Posted on 6/26/2016)
