Lily learns she was right. Tom Weng—a powerful sorcerer allied with the Old One who keeps trying to take over the world—is still alive. But that's not the worst. Weng is a dragon spawn, the product of a botched hatching given a human form in an attempt to keep him from going mad. A failed attempt.

Meanwhile, Lily’s husband Rule is facing a Challenge to the death. Then there’s the possible reappearance of another sorcerer. But none of that matters when their enemy strikes out of nowhere in the worst way possible. Lily must face a nightmare and return to a place she never wanted to see again. The place where she died…

Love WOTL, dislike the ending of this book by Scott (Posted on 9/13/2017)
World of the Lupi is fun and well written. Most of the books have some subplots that are resolved by the end of the book with some overlap to keep you waiting. This book finished with EVERYTHING up in the air. My take is that this one should have been listed as a part (a) or (1) of a multi part book...

Don't get me wrong, it was a wonderful journey, it's just having to take such a long break until the next one means I'll be anxiously waiting (I'm not that patient) and will have to re-listen to this one again to refresh before starting the next book.
Incredible! by PAT O'TOOLE (Posted on 8/28/2017)
Just amazing. Fast action. A wildly assorted cast of characters in addition to the ones I can't read enough about: Lily & Rule (+ Toby), Cullen & Cynna (+ Ryder), Arjenie & Benedict, Sam & Madame Yu (aka Grandmother). A great book...but oh what a cliffhanger!

After having listened to this entire series on Graphic Audio recordings, they are the voices in my head for these characters. Just excellent performances in every situation and for every character. Even Gan: as soon as I heard the voice I knew who it was from previous books in the series.

My only complaint is how long I'll have to wait for the next one in this series. I held back from reading this one because I REALLY wanted to wait for the Graphic Audio version (even though I'm an avid reader as well).
very well done by rafael (Posted on 8/20/2017)
this is one of my favorite series. The story move at a good pace. Things come together well. The buld up is outstanding and it keeps you wanting for more.
Another wonderful addition to the World of the Lupi by Phillip (Posted on 8/15/2017)
This was an entertaining addition to the universe of the Lupi. Lily saves the day once more!
