well done by rafael (Posted on 2/17/2017)
this story was very long. It took a couple of days to finish. I enjoyed mixture of past and present religion, fantasy. I look forward to the last part.
1st book was awesome...2nd book, not as much by Eric (Posted on 2/4/2017)
I loved the first installment of Modern Arthur. But, I have to tell you the writing was so different in the 2nd book that I can't help but wonder if it was a different author altogether.

It's all about rhythm. The first book had it. The second one just seemed to repeat statements and fall into a lot of brooding moments. I will say that the overall plot was interesting and had some neat twists. So, the story line is not without merit. Just the writing itself is a bit blah compared to the witty style of the first book.

Terrance does what he can with the narration. Although personally, I like him better as a character actor than narrator. Matthew Keenan does an excellent Arthur. And, the rest of the cast do their usual admirable work.

Overall, as a continuation of the series, I think it's worth a listen. However, it misses out on a lot of what made the first installment so enjoyable. I'm crossing my fingers that the third book returns to that original style of writing.

1st book was awesome. Really enjoyed how it speaks on how far off our society is.
