4 : The Doomsayer

by Jerry Ahern
Apr 1, 2008
3 Hours
Ages 18+
John Thomas Rourke, ex-CIA Covert Operations Officer, weapons expert, and survival authority, is pursuing the trail of his wife and children from whom he was separated when World War III began. As he sets out from his retreat, he meets a beautiful woman scientist, who has learned that the nuclear bombing on the Night of the War has created an artificial fault line. Within days, perhaps hours, it will cause one of the most massive quakes in history-separating the Florida peninsula from the U.S. mainland. Rourke must postpone the search for his family in order to reach Army intelligence and begin the evacuation of Florida. He must also find young Paul Rubenstein who has gone there to learn if by some miracle his parents had survived The War. Communist Cuban troops, Soviet-Cuban rivalry, a traitor in the inner circle of U.S. II and natural disaster of blood-chilling magnitude block Rourke's way. But he must go on-he is The Survivalist.

Sarah really comes out in this story. I really like her. I don't like the path Rourke is taking with the other woman. But at least he remains faithful. He sure is tough. Nobody can get him. He's almost as good as Batman
Great. by tyler (Posted on 9/8/2014)
The ending of this book was especially cool. I will keep going.
Survivalist 4 : The Doomsayer by robert (Posted on 7/23/2014)
All the hints, new plot twists, etc, they introduced in book 2 and started getting into in book 3, they go full bore on in book 4. About the only thing they are still hinting at (and it's got me scared they're going to take this series in a bizzare direction) is project eden. The story is top notch in book 4 (didn't see it coming), the Graphic audio treatment is top notch, and if you are into descriptions of guns, these books are off the charts.. I'm glad I picked up this entire series on CD when they had the CD blowout.. Also at the end of each of these, the "if you like these, you'll love Doomsday Warrior", and it makes me happy they show that series the love.
Survivalist The Doomsayer by Steven (Posted on 6/6/2014)
New earthquake fault, caused by WW III threaten to split Florida off from the mainland into the ocean. Can Rourke make anyone believe him and even a truce with the Russian Army
Awesome! by Patrick Capuano (Posted on 4/15/2014)
You can feel Rourke's heartbreak as he must delay his search for his wife and daughter in order save the lives of thousands. And a disaster of nearly unimaginable scale occurs that you don't want to miss. The audio quality is superb as ever.
Review by Todd Williams (Posted on 5/23/2013)
I have all of the Survivalist books out so far and can't wait for the next one. You will enjoy them all, trust me. A great entertaiment source for truckers and all over the road travilers.
