2 : The Nightmare Begins

by Jerry Ahern
Jan 1, 2008
3 Hours
Ages 18+
World War III is now a bloody page in American history. With nuclear holocaust killing more than a quarter-billion people worldwide and the United States just a memory, John Thomas Rourke, ex-CIA Covert Operations Officer, weapons expert and survival authority is enduring the ultimate test.

Soviet Occupation Forces have landed and must begin the "pacification" of America. They will start by liquidating any prominent Americans who could become a rallying point for armed resistance. The first name on the list is Samuel Chambers, the lone surviving member of the Presidential cabinet. And as the American KGB invades Texas to find Chambers, they find Rourke there as well.

With his young friend Paul Rubenstein, Rourke is fighting his way back to continue the search for his missing wife and children. Paramilitary armies, heavily armed brigands, a beautiful KGB infiltrator, an unending stream of War refugees, and a land gone mad with violence block his path. The birth of U.S. II has begun and the quest continues for John Thomas Rourke, The Survivalist.

The Russians are only half of the Bad Guys by Tad (Posted on 8/11/2018)
Who'd have thought if you nuke the U.S., that some survivors would band together...in lawless packs of Viking-like 'brigands', raping and pillaging the nuke-devastated remains of suburbia. Jerry Ahern, that's who. Good thing for us, John Rourke and Paul Rubenstein, are on our side!
Survivalist #2 by Timothy (Posted on 2/25/2016)
This one is a great continuation of backstory fill in and advancement of the present story line. And as always graphic audio does their job superbly and brings the story to life

Great story continuing on from the first, especially at the cheaper price in that they are short.
2 : The Nightmare Begins by robert (Posted on 7/19/2014)
An excellent continuation of the first book, action packed, and interesting through and through. This one sets up what I'm thinking is the bad guy of the series, or at least the beginning of the series, and he's a good one. Boy does the author love guns...!
Survivalist The NIghtmare Begins by Steven (Posted on 6/5/2014)

The story continues as the plot continues to build on the groundwork created in #1 Total War. I find this to be a very high quality adventure and I look forward to #3. Two awesome adventures in a row! Keep up the excellent work Graphic Audio!
