Ahern takes a stab at pulp romance by Tad (Posted on 8/11/2018)
Survivalist #8 is where the long-anticipated John-Natalia-Sarah love triangle finally becomes a reality. To be fair to the author, I've not read his books, only listened to the GA versions, so maybe this is GA "soap-opera-ing" it up a little, but it does seem that the action-adventure series becomes a schlocky romance for about 5 minutes on Disc 2. Still a great series, though.
Loved the Reunion but... by Wayne (Posted on 11/12/2014)
I really loved the reunion of John with his family. But I don't understand all this loving two women stuff. That made this story very cheesy. It seemed like all of that was very forced. Even if he didn't have a wife all the time her having to stop and tell him that she loved him is just crazy. We know its awkward but you shouldn't have to discuss it every 30 minutes. Thats just my take. I like these stories but all this kinda stuff makes me want to move on to something else. Graphic Audio does superb as always but the author just seems to want to push that issue way to much. Otherwise, its a great story. I really loved the reunion. After so long it will kinda make you tear up if your not careful. On to the next one...

Survivalist 8 : The End Is Coming by robert (Posted on 8/16/2014)
Finally they tie up something in the story (not going to do a spoiler) which has been occurring since the first book. This is the beginning of what's shaping up to be a really good story arc, and a welcome turnaround from the story arc of books 6 and 7. This one is a must listen (and rather funny if you live in or are familiar with Chicago)..
Survivalist The end is coming by Steven (Posted on 6/6/2014)
The end of the world is only weeks or days. Can Rourke save his friends & family when the atmosphere ignites.

excellent easy to follow full action audio book
exciting by Patrick Capuano (Posted on 4/15/2014)
Russians continue to impede Rourke's search for his family...and the consequences of nuclear war continue to mount for the survivors. It will leave you a thrilling feeling of wondering what will happen next and how will they survive this!
