9 : Earth Fire

by Jerry Ahern
Dec 1, 2008
5 Hours
Ages 18+
The Russians, consolidating their brutal hold on America after the bloody horror of World War III, are planning an act so vicious that mankind, itself, may never recover from the blow. John Thomas Rourke, the ex-CIA Covert Operations Officer, weapons expert, and survival authority is the only one with a prayer of stopping them.

But the Reds aren't afraid of Rourke. They fear the same thing he does: the imminent combustion of the earth's atmosphere into a global mass of deadly flame! Though Rourke has finally found his family, it will be a short reunion if he can't find a way to survive the Earth Fire. When all of humanity is about the burn in a hell of its own creation, it will be the final-and perhaps fatal-test of Rourke's skills as The Survivalist.

Somewhat better.. by Wayne (Posted on 11/12/2014)
Than the last one. It moves back into more of the regular story line. Natalia still has to tell him she loves him before every battle but maybe the author will get away from that. I don't know what John meant by telling his wife to trust him. I've searched everywhere online to see any kinda clue about what happens with his wife but none is there. This picture in the last story shows him with one woman. Don't know. It was nice to find out what the Eden project was also. It will be interesting to see what happens when they all wake up. I was going to stop after this when I heard the last one but I think I'll buy a few more and see what happens. If this stuff with Natalia continues I might drop off . It gets old quick.
Survivalist 9 : Earth Fire by robert (Posted on 8/25/2014)
Survivalist 9 : Earth Fire was one of my favorite books in the series so far (second only to the first book). Graphic Audio did a fantastic job with the "second" end of the world in the series the voice acting was spot on, the sound effects and music were excellent. The story was really good to, the cutting back and forth with John's story and the Presidents was really well written. My only nitpick with this book is, it was sorta hard to imagine the layout of the "Womb" in that they were walking around it, then driving, etc, etc.. The escape from it got a little hard to follow, but overall fantastic book.

The atmosphere is ready to ignite within days. Can Rourke find the cryo canisters needed to save his family & friends and stop the Russian KGB core who plan to sleep away the centuries in The Womb formerly NORAD within Cheyenne Mt. Still great.
Holy cow! by Patrick Capuano (Posted on 4/15/2014)
One of the most exciting books in this fantastic series! Truly this is the End Of The World and the biggest test of The Survivalist's skills. This ends the first story arc and sets up the following books for new, gripping story arcs.
