My favorite series so far. by Leslie (Posted on 8/30/2018)
I absolutely love Kip. The voice actor for this character is one of my all time favorites. This series is AMAZING!

can't stop listening to this series.LOVE IT!
Quite good book overall, but... by Patrick (Posted on 4/2/2017)
The first part of the will book leave you with a feeling that you're actually listing to a book meant for teenagers, it's quite slow ramping up to any action - and is in no way as good as the beginning of the the Night Angel Trilogy.

The book will get better in the second and third part, though.
Interesting Start by Travis (Posted on 1/9/2017)
Interesting magic system involving the color spectrum. Reminded me a little bit of Brandon Sanderson. Though, Brent Weeks does a nice job of setting it up with his own spin. GA, as always, excels at dramatization of novels into audio theater. The combination of music, sound effects, and the super voice acting makes a compelling listening experience.
Not for me by Amy (Posted on 8/31/2016)
I tried listening to this, but it just was not for me.

Good book
Very well done! by Brandon (Posted on 3/28/2016)
I have previously listened to Mr. Weeks Night Angel offering. This is of the same caliber. It is very compelling, fast-paced and with top-notch performance and production. The voice actor that portrayed Gavin was a definite highlight. This first part of the first book ends on a real cliffhanger! I had to download the next set right away!
The lightbringer saga by Patric (Posted on 3/6/2016)
This is one amazing series. The unique magic system is so complex and cool, it almost reminds me of some of brandon sandersons works. More importantly, I'd just like to say that the voice actor portraying the prism, gavin, did an amazing job. I listened to this from a friend that had the cd, and am considering buying a copy for myself on portrayal of gavin alone. Seriously, I hope he gets a bonus for his work on this series. Couldn't imagine a better gavin.
Black Prism by Ronnie (Posted on 2/4/2016)
This is a very good book it is a bit short but very good
Excellent Work of Art by Jared (Posted on 11/19/2015)
This audio piece honors the true spirit of Brent Weeks' literary genius! These "audiobooks" far surpass any normal kind of narrative book reading. The acting skills of the voice actors, the sound effects and music, the production teams ability to translate the descriptive language of the book into a very real feeling that is ever present while listening is perfectly executed to give you the Movie in Your Mind effect. I've listened to all of the Brent Weeks Graphic Audio books numerous times, and I always gain a stronger appreciation for them when I notice something new that I missed before.
Lightbringer Saga 1 : Black Prism (1 of 3) by TIM (Posted on 11/10/2015)
I wish the writer of the book would have broken the book in separate books. I really don't like jumping from 1 point of view to another. As usual because the book is unresolved till the last set this set left me lacking. See the final set for my review of the product. I purchased the whole book so i will at least complete this book
amazing by Arcenio (Posted on 5/6/2015)
Best audio book ever period !
Great Find by Rutsahl (Posted on 3/22/2015)
I took a shot and bought this, hoping for a good fantasy world with a great magic system like the Mistborn series that GA has done, and was not disappointed. Very entertaining story.
A rich mythology! by Catdaddy (Posted on 2/6/2015)
Do not lose your focus during the first hour - the mythology is dense and important. But there is a lot of exposition to give, and critical chunks of it appear as late as 4:30 in.

It is a typical fantasy-medieval setting with a critical twist: as per the title, characters can fashion physical objects out of light, with different properties pending on the color of the light they use. Overall, this seems to set up one of those exquisitely frustrating stories of true love is separated from each other by circumstance, misunderstanding and stubbornness. But different branches to the story, it weaves a more complex narrative then other episodic offerings from GraphicAudio, such as “The Wolf's Hour;” however, bear in mind this is not the first book in a trilogy, but the first *third* of the first book in a trilogy. It has no conclusive ending at all... but you will probably jump back onto this website to order the next part right after you finish the first, anyhow.

Even though the script uses somewhat "elevated language” for royalty, it is refreshing that people do speak their mind, and there is mild language where appropriate. Contrary to the 18+ rating, the drama is a PG-13 for occasional scenes of violence, the mild language, and one rather horrific image.
Black Prisim by Seth (Posted on 10/19/2014)
Incredible cast and music. Dramatization at its best!
I'm hooked yet again! by Armand (Posted on 10/9/2014)

Definitely hooked! Outstanding GA production yet again!

The Black Prism by Blase (Posted on 8/12/2014)
Fantastic cast production. This series might be the best thing I've heard from GA and it is my preferred way to take in this book. I've listened to this on my iPod or iPhone probably 15 times.

Great! by William (Posted on 11/27/2013)
The Graphic audio version is way better than the audible version. The production is topnotch and the cut off points in each section perfect. Well done.
Awsome by Steven (Posted on 10/25/2013)
This is by far one of the best shows I have enjoyed here from Graphicaudio. Graphicaudio do's an outstanding job in all of there work when it comes to puting on a great show and bringing a book to life.

But this one is the comination of Graphicaudio and one outstanding writer. I loved his books and this is truely magic combination with Graphicaudio doing his books.
Black Prism Book 1 by Stephanie (Posted on 9/29/2013)
Weeks is a fantastic author with consistently riveting stories. Graphic Audio is phenomenal when it comes to putting on a show, but Weeks only adds to the captivation. This is an absolute must.
