In post-apocalyptic Deathlands, America the beautiful has been ravaged by two centuries of nuclear fallout. Here, the American dream boils down to one thing: survival. Ryan Cawdor and his fellow warriors seize each day, armed and ready to hold on to the only life they've got. Despite the odds, they believe in something better, someplace they can call home...where peace isn't just a dream.

On the coast of what used to be Maine, the group's armourer, J. B.Dix, lies dying from a gunshot wound. Having no other choice, Ryan makes a deal with a local baron and his strangely beautiful wife. J.B. will get the surgery he needs when Ryan and crew rescue the couple's daughter, abducted by slavers. But the cold, deep Atlantic waters harbor predark secrets, including the terrifying specter of a U.S.S.R. nuclear submarine...and its descendants.

In Deathlands, no one is ever free from the past.

Blast to the past by brian (Posted on 10/9/2016)
Good one here, but I like all the flashback ones, has a nice flashback in it. Jb's past explained a little.
Good listen by Christopher (Posted on 9/11/2016)
I liked it, but sometimes I got confused between some past and present time skips. Without spoiling what happened I thought my cd was busted.
One of the best book in the series by Larry (Posted on 9/19/2015)

Deathlanders #111 Storm Breakers by Steven (Posted on 6/18/2014)
On the coast of Maine, J.B. is shot and is near death. Medical help is available but the cost is high. The local Baron who was supposedly their rescuer and benefactor wants a stiff price to save J.B's life. Pursue the slavers which the companions had encountered before & retrieve the Barons daughter. Of course this entails finding her, fighting off mutant frogman and the menace of a predark Soviet submarine. Interesting back story, in his fever delirium J.B. relives the story of his very early days & proving his skill & worth to Trader.

A terrific one! by James (Posted on 2/9/2014)
I really enjoyed this one a lot! I always like the books that give us a bit more insight into our troop of players. Richard Rohan rules, as always!

Top notch story and cast all the way! Keep them coming!
DL getting speed back on it's Fastball... by Tad (Posted on 12/20/2013)
A very good rebound by a series that was really starting to get long in the tooth. This story was engaging, and not the cookie-cutter model that some of the last few Deathlands had been. Experiencing J.B.'s flashback to his earliest days of riding with the Trader was fun, and we learned why he always wears his fedora! Finally: if the words,"Horny Murduerous Frog-Muties" don't intrigue you, nothing will. A good episode in the series all together!

JB It's about time we learned more about JB. We learned a little about his savvy with weapons but not much about his younger days..

This one was back to old school and old school rules! We got to know JB a little better than before!
Another Awesome Deathlands story... Always Wanting More! by Nightrucker (Posted on 9/2/2013)
This is a great Deathlands Story covers everything from basic traps to predark gen modification and Sacrafice! This is a great addition to the DeathLands Series and as always thanks to GraphicAudio for making to better.
Pleasant Surprise at the end... by William (Posted on 8/26/2013)
Once again the creation of new creatures plaguing our group of heroes was a delight to say the least. Love the 'froggies' and return of the 'cannies'. not to give the entire plot away. The story line had a nice surprise at the end as well as explained how one of the characters help become who they are. Always enjoy a 'Deathlands' story. I think I have listened to them all and most certainly hooked. I dread the day when this series finally ends. Keep up the great work.

Loved it as always. I've followed these characters all the way.
This one tricked me by robert (Posted on 8/22/2013)
When this one started I was like, Ughhh another dreary winter book.. Deathlands books based in the winter time seem to be slower and more depressing than books set in other climates for some reason, but soon after it started the author took it in a number of directions I didn't see coming. He flipped back and forth between two different but complimentary story threads, and the whole thing turned out really good (the ending was really good). Excellent as always Graphic Audio treatment, the only complaints I had about this book were Jak didn't get enough lines, and they started something with Ricky, but cut away from it really quick without resolving it (a teaser). Overally a 4 of 5, I would have made it a 4.5 if they allowed it.
