10 : Northstar Rising

by James Axler
Mar 1, 2006
7 Hours
Ages 18+
A generation after a global nuclear catastrophe, Minnesota is a steamy tropical environment of lush plants and horrifically mutated insects.

Emerging torn and battered after a triple jump through the gateways, Ryan Cawdor and his band of post-holocaust survivors discover an abandoned cryonics complex-a doomed fantasy begun a century before in a world far away from Deathlands. Dr. Mildred Wyeth is successfully revived from subzero suspended animation and joins the team of warrior survivalists.

In the jungles of Minnesota, the group discovers yet another freakish legacy of a world cone hideously wrong: Vikings.

In the Deathlands, the past and the future are clashing with frightening force.

Deathlands: Northstar Rising by Steve (Posted on 2/18/2019)
Remarkable plot twists await in this series. Like in Game of Thrones, you don't want to get attached to any characters in this series. More, more...
North Star Rising by Daniel (Posted on 1/24/2018)
Huge addition to group a must have if you plan on becoming a deathlands regular.
Review by Christopher (Posted on 10/11/2017)
Another good Deathland's book. I didn't expect vikings to make an appearance.
Vikings! by Chris (Posted on 9/22/2017)
Really fun take on Viking in the deathlands. Kind of a simple plot but as usual Graphic Audio does a great job of making sound great.
whatever your feeling by nicole (Posted on 11/4/2016)
I love that you don't have to necessarily listen to these stories in order. Because every book is so different you can just grab which ever adventure your feeling and roll with it!
DEATHLANDS 10 : Northstar Rising by Julius (Posted on 6/19/2016)
Never get tied of this movie in your mind
Deathlands 10 - Northstar rising by Grant (Posted on 6/16/2015)
Interesting story and a good addition to the cast.
Sorry to see the smallest and newest addition be removed (personally I think he should have been spared).

Technical note- Kristi's audio still has a different sound/ tone than the other cast members.

Maybe it is just my imagination, but the intro said "Graphic Audio, a movie in your ears".
awesome by shane (Posted on 6/5/2015)
Getting excited.... best book on tape I've heard
Slickman The Man by Larry (Posted on 2/16/2015)
this is the book where the 6 charter comes in the series and is a great book to listen to
The Next New by Vann (Posted on 10/2/2014)
Introducing a new character from the select freezy collection brings a fresh perspective to the on-going story line of DL. It was also great to see Doc show us his stuff. The actors did well as usual and the sound effects on this one were better than the previous ones. Well done!
Deathlands Northstar Rising by Steven (Posted on 6/5/2014)
This is a very good story as it introduces Dr Mildred Wyeth, a very feisty
character who reacts with Dr Tanner since they are both out of their
times and places.
Northstar Rising by John (Posted on 3/13/2014)
I like Mildred but I think the writers make her to perfect sometimes. Everyone has weaknesses.
Review by Chris Nardone (Posted on 5/23/2013)
Nice intro to Mildred Wyeth...sassy and sharp-tongued gal joining the group as they battle hideous, giant ants, mutie's and vikings.
Review by Paul Deffes (Posted on 5/23/2013)
Review by DAVID JACKSON (Posted on 5/23/2013)
Loved every minute of it and couldn't wait to get the next book into the cd player and have a feeling when I hit book 101 I will be left wanting more :)
