6 : Pony Soldiers

by James Axler
Jan 1, 2006
7 Hours
Ages 18+
Ryan Cawdor and his band of post-holocaust survivors come face-to-face with a specter from the past: out of the swirling dust that was once New Mexico bursts a regiment of pony soldiers, led by a man with flowing yellow hair.

Brandishing Colts and Winchesters, the horsemen grimly prepare to destroy the ragtag strangers, intruders who dare to penetrate their ruthlessly defended stronghold.

As the final showdown nears, Ryan makes a startling discovery: either he and his companions have chron-jumped back to the 1800s, or General George Custer has been catapulted into the twenty-second century...

Great by Connor (Posted on 3/2/2018)
This is really good classic

love the series
Pony soldiers by Daniel (Posted on 12/16/2017)
The past most often becomes the future in relation to situations and decisions, in this episode it applies all the way to the description of uniform. Another great story and telling of it also.
Cowboys and Indians!!! by Connor (Posted on 11/19/2017)
Why isn't this a TV show????
Pony soldiers by James (Posted on 5/30/2017)
Of the Deathlands books so far this one is very skip-able. It adds nothing to the plot and really is more filler than must have. Overall it is without risk or reason, very padded with the narrative stringing out in to some historical lessons that while nice to research will lose a listener if you are not already familiar with native american history. Skip if you are pinching pennies. This one is mostly just meh.
Love by nicole (Posted on 11/4/2016)
The descriptions from the author really bring the whole story to life. Its hard not to get cauht up in the action!
Wanna be custet by John (Posted on 9/21/2016)

DEATHLANDS 6 : Pony Soldiers by Julius (Posted on 6/19/2016)
Good twist
My begining by Levi (Posted on 3/30/2016)
This was my first GA ever purchased. I had a Deathlands TAPE around 2002 and found this GA on my honeymoon. Absolutely amazing work and I've been hooked ever since.
Very cool plot twists by Adam (Posted on 2/16/2016)

Book 6 by justin (Posted on 2/8/2016)
Good book
6 : Pony Soldiers by Glenn (Posted on 11/11/2015)
Good, not great episode. Lots of action of course like always but this is not one that I can listen to time and again like some other titles. Still worth the listen.
Pony Soldiers by James (Posted on 9/13/2015)
this book is ok if you like cowboy stuff but is a Superb action and sound effects
Pony Solilders by JB (Posted on 8/7/2015)
Somewhat dragged out, could of been 6 hours instead of 7 hours. Strasser was looking for a young boy to be his punk. He sure found one. Oh deep the darkness is getting.
Deathlands 06 Pony Soldiers by Grant (Posted on 6/1/2015)
To be honest- I was hesitant getting this one. I had heard the previews on the other GA Deathlands titles and wasn't sure what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised. Several plot twists and unexpected changes later- I am hooked on this one. Go in to it with an open mind and you may enjoy it as much as I am.
pony soldiers by jason (Posted on 3/2/2015)
Great story court Strasser Is a great bad guy almost as bad as the Magus
Slickman The Man by Larry (Posted on 2/11/2015)
Now i like the book but it is not my faveret mainly because i am not a big fan of cowboys and Indian and this book is like that
pony soldiers by Mudbug (Posted on 7/30/2014)
I cant say this was my fav but since it was Deathlands I had to have it. The one thing I love about this series is the fact that if you haven't listened to it for a while the next title kinda brings you up to speed. To me the story was some what lacking which is why I only gave it 3 headphones
A Question From The Past by Vann (Posted on 7/21/2014)
If you don't kill someone from your past, will you see them again? Wonderful story line and a ton of action. The DL's is a place where cult-like behavior can help someone gain power over others...easily. Even a weird twist at the end. The actors are at there best and the production quality is good.
deathlands6 by curtis (Posted on 7/9/2014)
this is a little diffrent but it goes to show you that anything can happen in the deathlands
deathlands pony soldiers by Steven (Posted on 6/6/2014)
Gen Custer & the 7th Cavalry, Ryan & his companions my have traveled back in time, maybe. Great story
Pony Soldiers by Luc (Posted on 5/11/2014)
The Apache tear, a rock with meaning.
Review by Chris Legault (Posted on 5/23/2013)
Story-wise this is probably my least enjoyed of the series so far. But Graphic Audio still impresses me with its incredible audio presentation. Superb voice acting and sound effects.
