Death shall come on swift wings to whoever desecrates this tomb…

Ishmael Jones and his partner Penny have been summoned to remote Cardavan House, home of the world’s largest private collection of Ancient Egyptian artefacts, for the unveiling of George Cardavan’s latest acquisition: a bone fide Egyptian mummy.

When a bloodstained body is discovered beside the empty sarcophagus, Ishmael is dismissive of the theory that the mummy’s curse is to blame. Instead he sets out to uncover the human killer responsible. But how can Ishmael explain the strange, shuffling footsteps that creep along the corridors? Who is playing games with them… and why?

Great story by K (Posted on 8/16/2018)
I loved this one, was not expecting the ending.
great story by rafael (Posted on 2/12/2018)
I've really come to enjoy this series. It is a true mystery. It leads you but it doesn't give away the plot. When you think you've figured it out it surprises you.
I want my mummy by Daniel (Posted on 2/7/2018)
This has a touch of Agatha Christie, the old family gather and murder comes but in ishmael jones we get murder and more. I was genuinely unsure just what the monster was. It made the creepy moments all the more compelling and urge to know just what was happening keep me listening.

The dynamic of penny and Ishmael make the horror and fear exciting

The twists are getting better and making the mystery harder to figure out right away.
There are serious moments and we get more about Ishmael and i cant wait for the next book.
So good and so engrossing by Amy (Posted on 2/5/2018)
The Ishmael Jones series just keeps getting better and better. I am in love with it. The mystery was SUPER twisty and engrossing, the expansion of the world keeps me hooked, and of course, the CHARACTERS. I loved learning more about this Colonel. His story was super interesting, and the Cardavans' family dynamic was fascinating.

Of course, Penny and Ishmael are the glue of this series, and MY GOD DO WE GET A LOT OF INFORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT WITH ISHMAEL. That's all I'll say, but it feels like the culmination of four books worth of development. I was in absolute shock and awe.

As always, GA kills it with the production. I Scott and Laura were phenomenal as per usual. Their performances as Ishmael and Penny are some of my absolute favorites from them, and from GA in general.

I can't wait for book five, to be completely honest. This is such a good, quick, compelling series. I highly recommend all GA fans to pick this sereis up.
Best since the first by damien (Posted on 1/30/2018)
A solid light mystery. I found myself finishing it in a day and was surprised how fast it went.
