A priceless artifact could restore a family''s honor-or destroy everything in its wake.

While vacationing in Tokyo, archaeologist Annja Creed is approached by a man who desperately needs her help. Kennichi Ogawa, the last descendant of an ancient warrior family, is trying to locate a stolen artifact. Legend has it that the vajra was mystically endowed by a warrior''s spirit to help the Yumegakure-ryu family forever be a source for good. But the vajra could help the forces of evil if it gets into the wrong hands. And now the bloodthirsty Yakuza and a group of hired ninja are after it.

As Annja and Kennichi trek through the fog-enshrouded mountains of the Iga province to find the relic, they must also outsmart the vicious Yakuza and ninja who are dangerously close to uncovering the vajra first... and to destroying their competition.

Educational Adventure by Sharon (Posted on 6/7/2017)
As always Annja has to fight off killers and make it so exciting; but I really like it when she learns new actions and practices that she can apply as she navigates through this life that the sword has chosen for her. I liked the fact that Ken was sincere and caring in his treatment of Annja and didn't mind explaining or teaching her what he had learned about being a Ninja. This book is one that I will listen to again. Good job GA!!!

I am thoroughly enjoying this whole series, however, I was little disappointed in this particular book. While the story was good, I felt that, unlike earlier books in the series, Annja was along for the ride more than being the main character. A bit of action, a bit of romance and a whole lot of mystical. Could have wished for a bit more suspense as far as Ken's character goes...a bit more romance with him as well. Still an interesting read with a touch of Japanese history, a glimmer of its culture, and a peek at an ancient order of monks.

This story keeps Annja on her toes as she has to decide who is helping her and who is hunting her. Another great story!
Couldn't Get Enough! by Sharon (Posted on 6/13/2016)
I love this series and Warrior Spirit didn't let me down. This story kept me on the edge of my seat; even driving down the highway. It was so engaging that I listened to it on my phone even when I was not in my car! I could not stop and walk away from this story. Loved it!

Anja Can't Get a Break in this Adventuresome Saga by sue (Posted on 9/23/2014)
Looks as if Anja has met her match in this international adventure that takes us to Tokyo. The twists and turns will keep you engaged as you wonder who is fighting whom!

Take your time and enjoy this well written story as warped villians stalk our favorite anthropologist.
