107 : No Man's Land

There's little to remember about life before the Big Nuke, but there's plenty to scavenge in the tainted wreckage of the post-apocalyptic frontier. The barbaric code of survival of the fittest, meanest or dirtiest makes for hard living and easy death. But Ryan Cawdor and his friends have stayed alive by holding on to their humanity-playing fair...and chilling only when they've got no choice.

A civil war raging in the Des Moines River valley forces Ryan and his companions to take sides, or die. Because somewhere in the middle of the generations-old conflict is a lost redoubt. But Snake Eye, the deadliest gunslinger in Deathlands, stands between them and the way out. And the mutie contract chiller won't step aside until he has Ryan's head.

In Deathlands, there's nothing but rock and a hard place....

I really enjoyed this one. Too bad a decent Barron had to die.

The companions jump into the middle of a civil war raging in the Des Moines River valley. Forced to chose sides, they must walk a thin line to locate a nearby hidden redoubt and stay alive at the same time.

I've heard every episode of death lands and this one is my least favorite.

This one was pretty good, good acting, good sound effects, good pacing, nothing bizzaro or wrong with the story. Good bunch of back and forth between the good and bad guys, and good character development. Civil war theme didn't lend itself to anything crazy occuring, but I have no complaints, and they didn't just write Ricky out of existence.. Oh, and the very racy scene about 3/4ths the way through.. very good, but not one for the kids in the car to be listening to ;)

Kind of interesting- this one's like Smoke Jenson --Deathlands style...lol. It's like your typical western flavored with the Deathlands characters- and a badass gunslinging mutant who was just a bit too full of himself.

And really? Christie's built like a brick shithouse? rofl!

And this one had a super erotic scene too- Wolf's Hour, anyone?

Over all, it's not one of my favorite episodes just cause it's too predictable and nothing really leaps at you from the plot point of view...but it's still good enough to deserve full 5 stars thanks to Graphic Audio.
