When archaeologist Annja Creed reluctantly agrees to help an old colleague on a dig in Antarctica, she wonders what he''s gotten her into. It turns out that her former associate has found a necklace made of an unknown metal depicting three snakes. He claims it''s over forty thousand years old-and that it may not have earthly origins.

As the pair conduct their research, Annja soon realizes she has more to worry about than being caught in snow slides. Because everyone is hiding something-from her friend, to the U.S. military personnel guarding the site. With no one to trust and someone out to kill her, Annja has nowhere to turn. And everything to lose.

This is a pretty good story especially considering where it takes place. Antartica is a really interesting place to create this story, and whoever the writer was this time around, did a pretty decent job of capturing the isolation involved in being stationed there. I just wish each of these writers would stop treating Annya like's she a man.

When you think you have it figured out, it changes. The sound effects almost mad me what to grab a jacket to keep warm. Great story!
Another hit! by Brandon (Posted on 2/24/2016)
This was slightly different from the usual RA fare, and it was a welcome change. The events all take place in a short period of time and in a single geographical locale. The voice acting was superb (Dylan Lynch, I am looking at you!) and the MacGuffin was pleasantly normal, lol. That said, the ending was not as strong as the build-up. Still, this is one of my favorite Rogue Angel stories!

I haven't even finished this story yet and think it is great! love Dave, and the surprise in it...can't tell you what it is, don't want to spoil anything but this is VERY good so far. :-)

Seemed pretty far-fetched, but was explained in an interesting way, as usual. Surprise ending.

This one is riveting! It keeps you guessing until the end and still leaves you thinking. Just when you think there is going to be an abrupt ending as in some of the RA productions they throw another twist at you. Great job GA.

This made it mystery as well as an adventure. Great audio book.

Great action; exciting. Cold climate was a good addition; worth listening to again because of the ending.
Review by Wayne Noble (Posted on 5/23/2013)
This story is a different twist. Especially with the cold twist. It was neat to have a story in Antarctica. GA did great creating the sound effects. Don't know if a snow cat sounds like that when the engine is engaged cause I've never heard one but it sure seemed real. The mystery element is nice in these. Where the culprit isn't always who you think it is. I like that.
