A small Nepali man melts into shadows. A cutthroat crime lord is looking for a miraculous cure. And a map to an impossible dream and a mythic paradise is pointing the way.

Archaeologist Annja Creed is in Katmandu, awash in its scents, sounds and liveliness. But this is no sightseeing trip. An old friend is in possession of a map that leads to a place that lies outside our world. But the map is known to one other-a vicious man who has Annja and her companions right where he wants them. Her hand forced, Annja sets out in search of the fabled Shangri-La-an expedition of danger and subversion.

And her journey will end only with triumph...or tragedy.

False Horizon by Chris (Posted on 5/5/2017)
It's a story of coincidence and conflict with more subterfuge than usual with Chinese and American spies all over the place in a hide-and-seek for an illegal project even as the overthrow of the Chinese government is plotted.

Annja almost found out about her family background but the price demanded was too high. Garin continues to intrigue as he blows hot and cold.

Anna is ready to swing into action with her broadsword out, the mountains and a burning plane in the background. The title is hint enough as she and Mike are looking for James Hilton's Lost Horizon.

The story keeps you on your toes with unexpected changes in direction and "I didn't see that coming" moments. Great story!

This story is very intense. It has a lot of curves and things that get you into the story. A lot of twists. It's like you think your at the end and all of a sudden something twists and your back in the fight again. Very mysterious and it turned out very good. I really liked it. As always GA done a fabulous job. I've now listened to these so much that I'm starting to hear the actors used more than once. Which isn't a minus just something I noticed. Also, the actor that plays the older female villain doesn't sound old. In fact she sounds quite young. None the less this is a very good story with an awesome mystery element.
