Rogue Angel

It started in 48 B.C. when a centurion on a rescue mission for Julius Caesar went down with the ship in a storm. With his last breath, he saw the object of Caesar's seafaring excursion-an accursed, mechanical minotaur-hit bottom...and start to walk away.

While taping an episode of Chasing History's Monsters, TV host and archaeologist Annja Creed learns that her sometime friend and protector Garin has acquired an ancient butterfly key artifact, the kind once used to wind automatons, clockwork-style devices. Except, this key comes with a rumor attached, a story that it once worked a god-touched device both rare and unbelievably powerful.

No sooner does Garin hold the key than it's snatched from his hands by a freewheeling historian who plays by her own rules. And she wants ultimate power, which could happily include the sword of Joan of Arc. The quest for the key and the mythological automaton reunites Annja, Garin and his old mentor Roux in Genoa, and pits them in a race across Europe to beat a foe as resourceful and skilled as Annja herself.

Awesome story, full of action and mystery! I love when Garin and Roux are part of the story. They bring great characters to the story line.
More to the characters by Amy (Posted on 5/21/2016)
Love this! Garin is especially duplicitous and shows more of a part of this aspect of his character than some of the other books have. The storyline was entertaining and was a quick listen. Highly recommend!
One of the best in the series by Daniel (Posted on 4/30/2015)
Annja Creed needs "I didn't do anything" tattooed on her body, preferably someplace all law enforcement can see it easily.
This is by far one of the best ones, its action and unique artifact really make Rouge Angel exciting. I enjoy the “historical fiction” behind the clockworks. I love Garin’s story, Roux’s was okay and Annja has a slow start but things get rolling near the end.

Top marks for the voice acting from all; Graphic Audio is on its own level; listening to any other audiobook just sounds dull and kind of boring after a good Graphic Audio. I am ruined for any other audiobooks; where’s the voice acting, where the music? I can only get it with Graphic Audio.
GraphicAudio Delivers Finest Quality by JEFF GraphicAudio Fan (Posted on 10/30/2014)
When I first started listening to GraphicAudio, I immediately knew something was different here. GraphicAudio never cuts corners nor takes short cuts on their productions. GraphicAudio is simply the best any consumer could ever hope for.

Beautiful opening scene!

Nanette, the narrator has beautifully created a vision in my mind as she speaks the Centurions last thoughts on his way to the bottom of the sea. Unbelivivably realistic. And sad too.

Thank You GraphicAudio Team.

I love having GraphicAudio voices in my ..mind !

I loved this one, it kept me on the edge of my seat. The audio was amazing. There were some pretty intense "scenes" were several things were all happening at the same time and yet I was always able to understand what was happening and being said.

Clockwork doomsday by robert (Posted on 6/11/2014)
Love the part about the clock works they reminded me of the fancy bird cages with the singing birds in them. Maybe you could do one about a old bird cage with the power to kill when it sings a special song
10 Stars? by Wayne (Posted on 12/29/2013)
This was very much better than 5 stars. Just everything about this story was good. Annja didn't do much fighting after the start, which I will say I still don't understand how the first scene in the story with her fits into the rest, most of the fighting is done by Roux and Garrin. I would like for just one time for them three to win all the way around. I mean the bad guys get thwarted at every angle and then nobody that annja is with gets killed and they recover the treasure without some massive destruction happening. But then I guess it wouldn't be fantasy if that happened. Oh well this is by far one of the best in a long while. Mel Odom always does a great job with his stories. The last two were not bad by any stretch of the imagination but this one was just simply fantastic.
