5 Hours
Ages 13+
Deep in the Bavarian forest, archaeologists unearth a medieval human skull with a brick stuffed in its mouth. When Annja Creed catches wind of the strange discovery, the TV host and archaeologist rushes to join the dig. But the superstitious locals are furious, fearing the excavation has angered one of the chewing dead—those who rise from their graves to feast on human flesh and blood. And soon she and her colleagues are facing down violent mobs and death threats. As far as Annja is concerned, though, the vampire myth is a load of bunk. Then a child goes missing.

Suddenly ensnared in the Czech Republic's black market underworld, Annja has no trouble believing that someone wants blood. But in this world, evil comes in human form, and Annja has no choice: she must wield Joan of Arc's sword to protect the innocent….

Doug involved in the story more than a call or two added an additional complexity and action. Great story. This was a nice twist on the traditional vampire story.
another enjoyable episode by Angelo (Posted on 2/13/2015)
Another enjoyable episode of annja creed's adventure
Need another Rating: one for story, one for the GA performance by Daniel (Posted on 12/31/2014)
This is one of those stories that I want to rate great for performance but the actual story is kind of low. Compared to the others this one felt very narrow and small. Nothing amazing in location and villian felt like a bad james bond wanna be bad guy. It felt like a bad circle at moments nothing really complete.
Alright by Wayne (Posted on 9/22/2014)
It's Annya and I like the Rogue Angel Series a lot. I didn't quite understand Garrin's point in this story. The story was good and having Doug around is always entertaining.
So funny. by Tina (Posted on 7/11/2014)

Another Great Audio Adventure With Annja Creed! by Joseph Baneth Allen (Posted on 2/17/2014)
just finished litening to "Rogue Angel -Blood Cursed" released by GraphicAudio.
Nothing is ever routne for Annja Ceed, and this latest outing of her's proves that her life as the bearer of Joan of Arc's sword is never ever dull and boring.
Normally Garin's cat-and-mouse business ventures never directly intersect with Annja archaeological pursuits. When Annja is invited to participate in a dig in the Czech Republic to unearth a potential real-life vampire graveyard, she jumps at the chance. Vampire burials are hard to authenticate and Annja wants in on the dig.
So does Doug - her producer at "Chasing Histories Monsters."
Doug just happens to be nearby and jumps at the chance to go on location and film a graveyard filled with "The Chewing Dead." Annja is actually impressed that he knows his vampiric lore - but not surprised since he does role play at goth clubs in New York City.
Meanwhile, Garin is getting the literal shaft from a business competitor. Turns out that Garin's nemesis - NOT Rue - is running a highly profitable black market organ harvesting operation that harvests organs from Gypsy children.
While there's not clear cut victory for Annja in this adventure, it was nice hearing Doug getting to participate and learn that Annja really doesn't cruise through her adventures - that they are dangerous and you can get badly hurt and killed.
Personal Note: The Rouge Angel series was a favorite of Mom's and Dad's. They would have enjoyed listening to Annja's latest adventure.
Highly Recommended!
