Shadow Ops Trilogy
3 : Breach Zone

by Myke Cole
May 1, 2015
8 Hours
Ages 18+
The Great Reawakening did not come quietly. Across the country and in every nation, people began “coming up Latent,” developing terrifying powers—summoning storms, raising the dead, and setting everything they touch ablaze. Those who Manifest must choose: become a sheepdog who protects the flock or a wolf who devours it…

In the wake of a bloody battle at Forward Operating Base Frontier and a scandalous presidential impeachment, Lieutenant Colonel Jan Thorsson, call sign “Harlequin,” becomes a national hero and a pariah to the military that is the only family he’s ever known.

In the fight for Latent equality, Oscar Britton is positioned to lead a rebellion in exile, but a powerful rival beats him to the punch: Scylla, a walking weapon who will stop at nothing to end the human-sanctioned apartheid against her kind.

When Scylla’s inhuman forces invade New York City, the Supernatural Operations Corps are the only soldiers equipped to prevent a massacre. In order to redeem himself with the military, Harlequin will be forced to face off with this havoc-wreaking woman from his past, warped by her power into something evil…

what a final rush! by Vincent (Posted on 8/3/2016)
I loved the ending, but felt a little cheated. I have read the actual books and wanted GA to cover all of it. I Understand why it had to be edited, but i just wanted more of the final b attle scene covered.

Loved it!! but didn't like how it just stopped at the end
Terrific Trilogy! by Laura (Posted on 8/22/2015)
Thorougly enjoyed the final chapter in this trilogy. Loved Briton's speech towards the end and the points of view compared/contrasted between himself and the lead "villainess" Scylla. The richest villains always speak soothe to some degree with grains of truth sprinkled amidst their evil doing. Multidimensional characters greatly enrich this tale and make me sad it's only a trilogy and not an ongoing saga like Deathlands! Hopefully Myke Cole will write more at some point! Well done GraphicAudio cast and crew!
Thumbs up by Victor (Posted on 7/30/2015)
A bit disappointed. Was hoping for more of a books one and two in depth story from Scyllas point of view.
Putting that aside, the story was great! One of the very few times I've wished a series was longer.
A great book by Charles (Posted on 5/11/2015)
GAs mix of sound effects, story telling, and music is at it's apex in this serIes. Sound effects don't drown out charater/narrator lines, and background noise usually fits story line. There are a couple musical insertions I'm not to sure of though. All around, great job.
Story line is one of those you're either going to like or dislike. Personally, I liked it.
A hell of a ride. by Jared (Posted on 4/16/2015)
Once again, Myke Cole's excellent writing combines with Graphic Audio's sound team and VAs to knock the ball way out of the damn park. The synopsis is accurate in so far as to the main plot, but we also get a sub-plot of a young Lt Jan Thorston back when he was an NYPD SOC liason officer and offer a look at the man beneath the uniform and the beginning of the biggest game changer since the Great Re-awakening itself.

More than that, though, is the return of Alan Bookbinder, who just happens to be in New York testing new forms of magically imbued items when Scylla kicks in the proverbial door on the planar walls, and the desperate struggle he'll make to unite with other soldiery to join in the horribly lopsided fight for New York City's survival.

Surrounding the main story, though, is a larger world and we catch glimpses of the larger diplomatic, political, and sometimes economical impact that the series has been having on the world, and how it's affecting our heroes in their hour of need.

Courage is tested. Friendships will be strained, and if you loved the first books, and the Vampire Earth series, you're gonna love this one.
