Deathlands
134 : Glory's Stockpile

by James Axler
6 Hours
978-1-62851-776-7
Ages 18+
Following the events of Deathlands 133: Grim Choices, Ryan Cawdor and his companions find themselves far from their intended destination of the surviving redoubt on the outskirts of what once was the capital of a mighty nation.

The gateway they’ve arrived through has planted them in the geographic middle of the Deathlands, and they soon find themselves in a violent struggle between multiple warring factions for the spoils of a legendary stockpile, buried in a former military installation somewhere in the region.

Low on ammo, and with visions of a massive treasure of armament and munitions, Ryan and his friends reluctantly find themselves in league with questionable allies, in a quest to acquire the brutally contested stockpile the twisted locals reverently refer to as the Glory.

Deathlands 134: Glory's Stockpile is an original Deathlands story written specifically for GraphicAudio and is available in no other format.

Get with it , Graphic Audio ! by carrie (Posted on 2/11/2019)
I felt like this was an overall distraction from the storyline ... So many questions to answer before the series is wrapped up , yet just another "crazy religion" variation. Kristy is no longer in the "early stages" of pregnancy by any possible way of accounting , yet we are still far away from safe harbor , Ryan MUST kill Magus , we would love to know what happened to Dean , is it even REMOTELY possible that Doc could return to his hearth and home , does Jak find another life companion to settle down with , does JB realize that he NEEDS his companions as much as they need him as his eyesight progressively worstens , can we eavesdrop on a little more of the Wyeth Codex to feel what Deathlands looks like both through 20th century and future eyes ? No , I don't have any questions about Ricky - like many faithful Deathlands followers ( I have them ALL) I think that character was a rare misstep in this otherwise stellar series. But all good things eventually come to an end , and the best ones carefully plan a spectacular finale . I hope Rick Rohan and the gang get to "go out" that way !

This was a marvelous book as they always are. I am much happier with the writing since GA took over. However, with that being said, I have this overwhelming fear that GA is playing the end game.

I worry they are trying to settle the group down and bring the saga to a end. I know 134 books is a lot but theres so much more to say.
Glory’s Stockpile #134 by David (Posted on 1/28/2019)
As always I could not stop listening I have been reading the books and listening to the audio‘s for the past 15 years and once I caught up I now I have to wait for the next one to be made and it is absolute torture especially when they are as great as number 134 , and I am left in suspense If JB is really considering leaving the group and also what will come of Christie’s soon to be born child and will they make it to front Royal and I am hoping they will find Dean Carter there ..... so much and Tessa patient number 134 leave you on the edge of your seat so please give us a early release for number 135 and I am asking you to not let death lands end, I guess I am what you call a junkie for graphic audio ...

Graphic Audio as usual did an excellent job on narration, cast and sound effects. That being said I did not like the book, the characters acted out of character. I did like aspects of the book but did not feel this one lived up to past books in the series.
