Ages 13+
Evil has been defeated. The war has just begun.

They did the impossible, deposing the godlike being whose brutal rule had lasted a thousand years. Now Vin, the street urchin who has grown into the most powerful Mistborn in the land, and Elend Venture, the idealistic young nobleman who loves her, must build a healthy new society in the ashes of an empire.

They have barely begun when three separate armies attack. As the siege tightens, an ancient legend seems to offer a glimmer of hope. But even if it really exists, no one knows where to find the Well of Ascension or what manner of power it bestows.

It may just be that killing the Lord Ruler was the easy part. Surviving the aftermath of his fall is going to be the real challenge.

Reviews

Difficult to stop listening to it. by William (Posted on 1/24/2019)
Lots of great scenes and moments. If the series keeps up this excellence, this could end up being my favorite audio based series I've ever listened to!
Absolutely Great by Jason (Posted on 8/26/2018)
The second part of the second book keeps going strong with action, politics, and the expanding world. Armies are gathering and you get to see more from the rulers of the armies and their motivation. There is also a new mysterious threat that is emerging that the characters are trying to figure out. The performance was great (voice acting, sound effects, and music)
Wow by Ryan (Posted on 6/1/2018)
This story gets deeper and more complicated as it goes. I love the capacity of GA to bring it to life. I love the actors they chose
Better and Better by Odis (Posted on 11/21/2016)
This book only gets better and better as it goes on. Mr. Sanderson knows what he's about, and The Well of Ascension doesn't disappoint!
Well of Ascension by Amy (Posted on 10/1/2016)
Excellent adaptation of an excellent sequel. Graphic Audio is so immersive.
Brilliant adaptation of a brilliant sequel, continued by Amy (Posted on 8/21/2016)
Still excellent, and loving every minute. So so so good
Super slow parts by Steven (Posted on 8/14/2016)
I found myself skipping though parts of the book and piecing together parts of the storyline because of how boring parts of the conversations were, but that's expected. Sanderson books are set up in alternate worlds and it is a "real" world he creates. Not all parts of a world are action packed.
Intriguing But Slow by Cassiopeia (Posted on 5/5/2016)
Unlike the first book which focuses on Vin and her external relationships, this book is almost entirely internal with a heavy focus on politics. That makes for somewhat of an awkward verbal adaptation in some areas and yet I feel that GraphicAudio handled it very well. The only real problems I had with this section of the story had to do with the source-material, not the adaptation. I didn't like how Vin seemed to vacillate between extremes, loving Eland one moment then loving Zane the next. The inclusion of Zane in particular felt forced and in many ways unnecessary. I did, however, love the twist ending and the ominous lead-in to the next addition.
Epic Fantasy by Travis (Posted on 4/4/2016)
GA keeps doing what they do well, and that's making awesome movies in our minds! I'm really enjoying this audio version of Sanderson's Mistborn series, and Part 2 of GA's adaption of THE WELL OF ASCENSION is spot on. The voice acting is brilliant. Terence Aselford is great as the narrator, always keeping me hook. And the SFX and music just help immerse you in the story. I'm looking forward to listening to Vin eventually confronting Zane.
Keeping it going!! by William (Posted on 3/14/2016)
This book continues to drive home the story that is Vin and dives deeper into the backstory between the other characters! I enjoyed the subtle twists and turns. Most of all it never gets old to learn more about what it is to be Mistborn!
Mistborn by Chase (Posted on 2/12/2016)
Love the series. GA brings new life to the story and I hope they do more books from this Author.
Book 5 by justin (Posted on 12/11/2015)
Really enjoying this one
Keeps delivering by Helgi Gunnar (Posted on 10/23/2015)
This is one of my favorite stories of all time, and Brandon Sanderson is now among my favorite authors. The story telling is up to par of what you have come to expect of Graphic Audio, and the music and sound effects are excellent.
Mistborn Well of Ascension 2 of 3 by Lionel (Posted on 9/22/2015)
The story is coming together, Elend is finding himself, and Vin... well is a deadly weapon. Absolutely Awesome!!
Incredible by Arthur (Posted on 6/7/2015)
All of these stories are incredible.
Sweet! by Brittany (Posted on 6/3/2015)
Still can't believe how captivated I am with this series! Amazing quality as well
nothing can top this by Mel (Posted on 2/9/2015)
I seriously don't think another audiobook can top this one
Small hints on secrets everywhere... by Patrick (Posted on 1/2/2015)
I like Brandon Sanderson's story telling style. There are small hints everywhere on the next secret to be revealed, but they are very well camouflaged - and you almost never guess what will happen next until it has already happened!

The only thing I miss about the series is the ability to download both the ordinary FLAC-version and the Dolby Surround 5:1 version at some kind of discount. The FLAC version would be for my MP3 player and the the Dolby Surround 5:1 would be for listening on my THX-certified system in my living room.

Ascension into the mists... by Levictus (Posted on 11/11/2014)
The plot continues to thicken for the cast of characters. Story has nice twists to it, Graphic audio continues to bring this story to life, highly recommended.
Fantastically awesome by Bryant (Posted on 10/8/2014)
I tried really hard to wait until all three parts of the Well of Ascension were out before I listed to any of them, but failed miserably. I went through all three in three work days. Masterful job - please don't make us wait for the Hero of Ages!
Well of ascension by Justin (Posted on 9/20/2014)
One of my favorite series
A Well of Tears as we wait for the next one by Thomas (Posted on 9/20/2014)
Things really pick up in this installment and you're left with some pretty interesting questions. Can't wait for Part 3! Keep up the good work, GA!
Mistborn 2 Part 2 by Scott (Posted on 8/26/2014)
This is were we really start to get in to the meat of the series. The first book would have been fine as a stand alone story, but in book 2 part 2 especially we start to learn about the prophecies of the Hero of Ages and the forces that shaped the world and the magic in it. We also move into a more complicated political gambits and strange occurrences as the mist starts attacking people and darker things are on the horizon.

This is a must listen to. Just make sure you get all the parts and listen to them one after another or you go crazy waiting for the next part.
Mistborn 2 - The Well of Ascention by Arran (Posted on 8/24/2014)
This serious is an amazing and interesting look at the Fantasy genre as well as bringing an interesting spin to science. Every character is extremely well developed leaving you with a desire to delve into each of them. The Author does an inspirational job in letting you understand even the deepest aspects of their characters and takes you on a deep journey through their own growth and development. You bond with each and the constant twists and turns will always leave you wanting more and more.

You will love this series as it holds something for everyone and no matter how many times you read these books you will always spot new things to enjoy. Graphic Audio's work here as always above and beyond any other audio book quality.
Mistborn by brett (Posted on 8/15/2014)
This book is so amazing. Filled with mystical powers you will find no place else; this book brings a completely new way to look at your everyday metals. Getting to know the characters, their strengths, and their wit adds to the enjoyment of the book as a group Vin and her friends try to save . maintain? . the city.

It's definitely a must read, a must have. A person could just as easily go grab this book out of any store, but why would you want to. The talented actors help bring the images to life. They do indeed take you on a never had before adventure! This book will forever be a 5 star.
